Good game!
I don't recommend anything to anyone. Steam should stop asking and game dev should stop stop supporting this.
I would say its like 70% good and 30% bad but the 30% is really really annoying that I almost gave it a negative review but I guess for all the good it has it would be unfair to rate it down. So what's good? Besides being an absolute genre defining game, loop hero when it works right is absolutely addicting, the whole feeling of going for more and more loops and getting all greedy seeing your stats and resources go up until eventually you get humbled by stuff you placed on the board. Your own downfall is yourself (for the most part, will get to that later). The pixel art is absolutely stunning and I acknowledge the whole argument of substance over style but when you have such style like this its quite hard to ignore. This style sells and I can guarantee you that a large portion of people who have played this were initially attracted by its pixel art so you can't ignore it. The sound design is also really impressive, whenever I get any sort of new resource and I hear that piano key play I get a boost of dopamine, its some good stuff. The overarching story is pretty good, the characters are well designed as well. I would say each character feels different enough to change up the game but not too much. I don't really know how to put my feelings into words with this but man with all this good I come off still frustrated as hell from this game. My biggest issue has to be the really punishing balancing, doing ANY sort of move that provides any benefit to you will always result in so much damage done to you so every single time I ever want to make a move I almost always know that I am the one coming at a loss from this move and its honestly really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. Some will prolly say its a skill issue and I guess it prolly is but the thing is from my experience with roguelikes you do have the option to make your run harder for more reward but when the smallest positive always nets in a negative it really starts making your entire playstyle just hella passive. Also progress after like not sure exactly when, like towards end of your crafting map becomes very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slow like you will not get any sort of new lore or any new access to anything for RUNS on RUNS man its really ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Overall its like a good puff but just as you're starting to appreciate how good that puff is you start choking and coughing.
Good and addictive. Just one more loop!
다양한 빌드로 조합해보면서 클리어하는 맛 재밋어요!! 강추강추!
Un peu trop simple mais fun
