Game Review: Look Outside Score: 6 / 10 Look Outside is a survival horror game set in a post-apocalyptic world. The entire experience takes place within an apartment building that gradually branches off into bizarre, unknown dimensions, such as the grotesque "Meat World." Your main quest is to participate in a cryptic ritual with the aid of other survivors. Visually, the game utilizes a pixel-art style, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The resolution and definition are incredibly poor—so much so that you frequently cannot even tell what object you are looking at. Fortunately, the story is exceptionally well-written and stands out as the absolute high point of the entire experience. The combat mechanics are also well-executed, offering a satisfying variety of items and gear to equip. However, the game suffers from a severe design bottleneck regarding its progression and multiple endings. It is entirely possible to play for 30 hours only to realize you have been locked out of the "good" outcome due to highly abstract requirements. Because Look Outside completely lacks a quest log or journal, it relies heavily on manual note-taking and deciphering vague clues from internal character monologues. Unlocking the true path requires a hyper-specific, easily missable sequence of actions: Tracking down an Iris Key during the blackout phase. Navigating the 1:1 layout mirrors of the pulsating flesh dimension. Solving the dense, puzzle-heavy narrative of Apartment 12.Retrieving a repaired telescope to trigger a critical choice with Sybil, your eye-in-the-wall neighbor. Knowing the exact frame to reject the status quo and attack Sybil to break into the true final boss route (the Unity ending).Missing even one of these obscure triggers forces a default, anti-climactic ending once your 15-day survival window closes. Ultimately, while the narrative and combat are strong, the abstract progression system makes it far too easy to waste dozens of hours on a dead-end run.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Best game EVER!!!!
i never looked outside cuz i'm cool
Tiene incollato fino all'ultimo. Le storie, i personaggi, gli appartamenti... sono tutti curati nei dettagli. SI vede che c'è stato un lavorone dietro, e lo sviluppatore ha continuato ad aggiornare aggiungendo sempre più storie. Ed è rigiocabilissimo
豪玩
In a world full of pessimistic stories, especially regarding cosmic horror as a genre, Look Outside finds a way to showcase the beauty of empathy and kindness in the most unlikely of settings and I think that's really beautiful.
