[h3]Fun Indie Game with Room for Improvement[/h3] Thoroughly enjoyed this game and I look forward to seeing future updates and balancing tweaks for the game! 4/5 stars to me (I do understand it's a solo dev game, so no pressure here, you're doing great!) - I love the Norse Lore based items and characters - Feels like the game needs some adjustments, such as allowing the player to choose something like "All Gold" or "All Food" if all of the character relics are maxed - Would also be nice if there was a way to tell which slot an upgrade is going to take, which made the [b]Life Giver and Taker[/b] a bit harder to figure out - There should either be a speed up function or a reduced time before the final boss appears, because with smart planning, it ends up being a wait quest until the final boss appears - It's really easy to accidentally make a character build that ends up with a single HP at max upgrades and playing 1HP bullet hell isn't fun with all the projectiles flying around (esp if the player [me oof, lol] forgets to grab the Giant's Heart item)

Having a lot of fun with this game so far. I am looking forward to future updates to make this game even better. If you enjoy bullet hell style games definitely check this game out.

Pros: -Good addition to the genre -3 unique characters at the time of writing this -unique enemies that add some* challenge Cons: -not much in the game, pretty barebones -not a lot of variety between plays, all of the specials can be received each playthrough. -if you can get past the first couple bosses it is super easy to just finish the round without much worry. Suggestions: -do not allow all the items to be received. Cap the items to allow people to experiment with different runs' -more diversity in equipment would add a lot of value -some equipment is over-tuned. the vampire wing for example. i was regaining health right after i lost it. -faster attacking enemies [especially projectile] so i dont just stand still. there were portions in the middle of the game where i could literally just stand still and not worry about any damage. -the final boss very simple. a slow moving projectile is far to simple to dodge. Tuning the boss to add an AOE or something that makes me move further than a step to dodge would provide some variance. That along with bumping its health -Difficulty: took me 1 try on each character before i beat the game AND looped with Thor. TLDR: simple game that could use some tuning. has potential but could bump up the difficulty. Dont regret, but putting it away for a few updates to allow it to really shine

Initial impressions were positive! I was just looking for a quick bullet heaven to spare some time and this one hit the spot. I think there's a solid framework here and the level design points of interest lean into that. I'm hoping there's more in the future because I would happily come back to play :)
