Played this on steam deck, everything runs great. The moment to moment gameplay is great and I can see myself coming back until I beat the final boss Nice little roguelite - i still need to get through the final area. I've beaten 3 bosses so far Controls are tight and i like how the dash feels The artstyle, music and npc dialogue all give a nice sense of atmosphere. I enjoyed finding different weapon types and experimenting with their effects. For what is a relatively small game, there is a lot of variety. Early favourites are the spinning axe that stacks rot and flame kunai. Not quite sure the melee/ranged/durability upgrades you can choose from feel balanced. It just feels a bit weird getting a bigger health buff on ranged compared to the other 2. Its not a huge complaint For the dev: encountered one bug where the money counter would tick back to 0 after hitting 9. This only happened once. Also, I noticed a couple of typing errors on item descriptions/dialogue. Discovered your game via twitter and read your story - keeping going mate! Overall though I would recommend the game to anyone who enjoys hacking and slashing, Dead Cells or playing as little dudes :)
The game is highly enjoyable. There's some flaws in UI but the dev is very active and I don't doubt they will fix that.
It's a cute rogue-like with unique graphics.
Fun :)
This game is loads of fun. You get upgrades that may or may not help you and the abilities are solid. Game gets challenging as you make progress and the levels are random as you would expect in a Roguelike game. The only problem I have with it is that there is no way to save in case you die as you have to start from the beginning
Very quick game, but I really enjoyed it
I've only been playing for an hour, but I've alrady reached the king (because greedshield + crackhead ring is OP as hell) Here is a small review that i might update ; The game is fun, it's not as compled as others of its genra (such as Hadesor Wizard of Legends), because it only features a basic dash, and possibility to upgrade your weapon/spell. But it manages to be real effficient in its mechanics (melee attack to recharge spell, rot/burn/shock, etc). Overrall it's a good time, even if sometimes it turns into a bullet hell ! I will have to play more to know if it's challenging/too hard, but my first two runs were fun. There is a great variety of ennemies, and some nice designed mini/bosses; Here are some things than I think could be improved for UX : - weapons/armors/spells/rings/vials that are dropped might not be noticable enough, at least for me - Some rooms can be encountered a 3/4 times over 20 rooms of a biome, which might seem too repetitive, especially for the trap rooms - empty rooms sometimes, which almost seem to be a bug since there is no way to know what's it about - There seems to be some lore, with rooms that contains items that aren't gameplay
