Three years into wallowing in self-pity over your wife's death, desperately trying to escape a grief that rots your soul. You accept a call to return to Gui Dou's Public Security Bureau as a detective to help solve the over abundance of homicide crimes that plagues the small city. Figured that maybe some of these cases can help you figure out the truth behind the mysterious death of your wife. With each case lies a mystery where you have to talk, compare, doubt, and redraw until the picture matches reality.
A messy crime scene requires a structured mind. Take control of the investigation by utilizing a deduction table to map out the crime. Physically drag, sort, recovered documents and hard forensic clues. Draw direct connections between them to piece together the sequence of events.
Turn conflicting memories into a concrete target. Put your artistic skills to the test by sketching suspects based on the chaotic, shifting descriptions from the witnesses and onlookers. You must decide which facial features are genuine and which are born from fear, obsession, or deliberate deception.
