LiMiT's Escape Room Games

I'm not really sure if LiMiT's Escape Room Games is an asset flip (it really does look like it). Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. This is a very primitive escape room puzzle game, you get two rooms to try to escape from. There's a shortcut to the escape rooms; don't buy this or play it. That would make you a winner. It's pretty clunky to say the least, with some "my first Unreal game menu", a ridiculous requirement to kick off your own server if you want to play solo... I think the dev was hoping a bunch of Unreal assets and co-op functionality would catapult him to stardom. Didn't happen. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, in some places they appear mismatched... Ultimately the quality of these assets, and thus the overall visual quality is lower than average, and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience. Remember, we're looking for the best of the best of 100,000+ games on Steam. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 19 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? LiMiT's Escape Room Games is relatively cheap at $4 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.

schönes Escape Room Spiel. Habe es im Koop gespielt. Angenehme Schwierigkeit, nicht zu einfach, nicht zu schwer. Freue mich auf den zweiten Teil. Man merkt auf jeden Fall die Mühe und Kreativität des Entwicklers.

Gutes Escape Room Game. Im Koop beendet, beide Räume in knapp unter 3h. Macht vieles sehr ähnlich zu echten Escape Rooms. Etwas viele Zahlenschlösser aber genug Abwechslung beim Lösen der Rätsel um das auszugleichen. Schwierigkeit war überschaubar, standen nur bei 2 Rätseln etwas länger aufm Schlauch aber mit den Ingame-Hinweisen sehr gut lösbar. Wer Escape Room Games mag macht für den Preis definitiv nichts falsch.

Fun little game for the price. Only two maps and controls are not good. But fun little game to play online with friends. Recommended
