lilGunBois: Super Team Transgender Fortress Platformer Battlegrounds

lilGunBois is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This game manages to add "Minimalist" to "Pixel" on the list of lazy shovelware attributes, and has you controlling a pixel blob and shooting other pixel blobs while jumping over platforms to get to the exit. So this is basically like every other platformer shooter (and there are many thousands of these), but with worse graphics. The game feels a lot more like a demo or a student project than a professionally developed game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the video game construction kit/toolset, the open sourced Love 2D game engine. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur/unskilled developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. On the upside at least the developer included a text file with the game to satisfy licensing requirements, but it's unclear why this was hidden in the game folder where nobody will see it (apart from reviewers who do their research). It's always unusual when developers try to hide details like this from gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. lilGunBois is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

Bağımsız yapımcı olduğunu göz önüne alırsak ve tanıtım videosundaki hanım arkadaşın samimiyetine güvenirsek oldukça başarılı bir oyun olmuş. Bölümler akıcı ilerliyor, basit ve anlaşılır. Evet belki oyunda bi amaç yok ancak arkadaş kendini geliştirirse ileride 2D güzel bir RPG oyunu yapabilir gibi görünüyor, şevkini kırmayalım.

Неудобная платформенная тошниловка от няшного трапика. Фиг пойми какой движок, меняющий видимость уровня от размера окна, мусорная механика передвижения со скольжениями и срабатывающими через раз прыжками, отсутствие какой-либо прогрессии в плане новых объектов на уровнях и самый убогий костыльный платформерный левел-дизайн. Ну и враги, которые стреляют в твою сторону сразу, как только ты окажешься с ними на одной линии по горизонтали. Можно, конечно, перетерпеть и пройти 15 уровней, а потом сразу удалить это с компа, но лучше и интереснее время потратить на колупание в ухе. Если бы у бабушки был член - она бы была дедушкой.

Même si le jeu est sympathique, le personnage glisse, faisant des phases de plateforme, des passages assez délicats à passer. De plus la développeuse n'assure aucun suivi de son jeu, pas de mises à jour, pas de dialogue avec les joueurs.
