Gorgeous game, with fantastic messaging. Perfect for kids but also great for adults. DLC is fantastic too, thanks so much Mary!

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 2 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I played this game once for free when I had Xbox Gamepass. After I saw the DLC came out I wanted to play that as well, so I replayed the entire game + the DLC and it was just as fun this time around as it was the first time :D
This game was/is honestly life changing. I cried, laughed a lot, and had an incredible amount of fun playing it. From the beautiful scenery to the cute interactions between friends to the fun mini-games—all in all, it was simply a fantastic experience. After playing this game for bit less the seven hours, I finished the game (I personally have to say that it was pretty addictive) The achievements mainly focus on the story, completing the map, and crafting/equipping every set/item. There are a few secret achievements that aren’t easy to find, but with guides, they’re definitely doable. The only thing I disliked about the game is that it ended so fast (even with purchasing the DLC) and I wish I could find more game like this. I wouldn’t even call it a game—it was a breathtaking and beautiful experience that I probably won’t find in any other game anytime soon. Please make more fantastic art like this in the future, because I’ll definitely buy and enjoy these games too. <3
A beautiful, heartfelt love letter to both 3D collectathon platformers but also to the act of hanging one to one's youth and imagination, Lil Gator Game's world is an absolutely joyful one to let yourself sink into for a few hours. We play as the titular Lil Gator who, fed up with his older sister refusing to take part in his games like they used to do, decides to rope every kid he can find into holding the biggest fantasy adventure game across the entire park in the hopes of making her put down her laptop and join in the fun. Lil Gator's enthusiasm is infectious, and its impossible for one's heart not to spark at least a bit of joy as he trundles around the park, smashing down wooden boards painted like monsters and collects scraps of paper to trade for cool new costumes. And yet, there's also something wistful and melancholy there as well; as an adult it's hard not to also see his sister's perspective as she puts fun aside to try and achieve her dreams, and managing those conflicting emotions in the narrative is done with a deft and careful hand. Gameplay-wise it's very much an ode to collectathon platformers of the 90s, albeit with no real danger or fail states. Enemies are wooden boards made to be broken, and quests given to us range from ones that get into the roleplaying vibe to some kids who give Lil Gator a cursory task just to redirect him from their own games. It's a stunning love letter to childhood innocence and an endlessly charming, ebullient game.
SO GOOD
What a fun, colorful and polished experience. At the time of this review I have played less than an hour so far, but I felt compelled to write a review already, because this is a really cool game. It's silly, pure, peaceful.
Lil Gator Game is such a cute little game - 100% whimsy and absolutely brings out the inner child. Thank you again Kalina, for the base game copy. 4 hours to complete the base game then 3 hours to complete the DLC; with some minor afk-ing here and there. It’s technically an open world, but it’s quite linear in practice, which works really well for it. It gives you the unpressured exploration without ever becoming overwhelming. What I especially loved is how genuinely sweet the storytelling is. Underneath all the cute animals and silly little activities, it’s basically a lesson in boundaries and empathy. A big part of the game is realising that the “rules” of play aren’t necessarily intuitive to everyone. What seems obvious and fun to one person might not make sense to someone else, and that doesn’t mean they’re being difficult or playing wrong. The game handles that idea in such a gentle, child-friendly way. Which is to say simply, definitely a game to gift a child. But a lesson you can learn any point in your life. Very cute. Very wholesome. Pleasantly surprised at its emotional intelligence.
10/10 Cute, Lil' game! Perfect collectathon game that reminds you of old school ones, but with no punishing mechanics. Very cozy and chill game with no stakes.
