Lightrise is a skill-based, player vs. player combat game which at the core is focused on fun, fluent and fast-paced combat. Lightrise gives players a combat experience not quite like anything else available out there.

Whilst the gameplay is fantastic, and the range of abilities is staggering, I'm sad to say I cant recommend this game. It doesnt matter how good a game is if you cant play it, it is flawed. Currently this has no online community, for a game without a singleplayer mode its a real deathblow. I hope that a community grows in the future. Please watch my video for a more indepth review/firstlook. https://youtu.be/uvmKw1QVDjI
As a Darkfall player i picked the combat up fast and its really fun. Go through the tutorial get your bindings sorted and be patient to be competitive there will be a learner curve for new players. Props for the combat feel makes a nice change to alot of the other indie games out there where its just non existent. Good Job Dave Bizzle

The game itself looks really good and seems fun. I like how you have many spells to switch between during combat (plus bow & sword). The only problem is lack of community, because the game is new. If you want to play, add me. This game won't grow if people won't give it a chance.
This game reminds me of Darkfall When I played there was no one on any of the servers sadly, but after switching between the moves and derping around the landscape I can tell that this would be a ton of fun if you actually had friends to play it with It's a shame amount the player population, but it is a game that I will be playing again in the future once I find a good time to get some friends together for it
Dead. Unplayable. The game has no players. The game has no bots. There's nothing to do but kill yourself with AOE spells.
Positiv: + viele einsetzbare Fähigkeiten Negativ: - keine Spieler/leere Server
I think this is a very nice game which has a whole lot of potential. So here we go: + skill-based + everything is customizable (controls, GUI/HUD, character, weapons, etc.) + nicely designed maps + many skills/spells + low price for nice product - only multiplayer - outdated graphics (personally I think this doesn`t matter, been playing Mount and Blade for ages, one of my favorites) - a bit more fps would be nice - small community (this really is an issue) BUT WE can actively increase the online community by sharing this nice game to others, I mean its 0,99, it runs on low PCs and it`s really fun, what more do you want? We should give this game the chance it deserves.
It's sad that this game is dead now. There is a message that playtests are at Wed 9pm and Sat 3pm EST. But there are no people around at this time. I think it would be better to put this game from steam. It costs not much, but there is no actual game inside.
So bad, its good.
