I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!!!!! it’s so nostalgic, i’m invested in the drama, the desktop is so immersive sometimes i forget i’m playing this game and not just Solitaire, and i was able to upload my own mp3 files for the music player for even more immersion. i love the screen freeze that happens for a second when the song changes and the visualizer. there is so much to explore in this game i could spend hours just reading through the websites. i love the paint app, the tarot reading app, yourspace, the desktop orc, so many little details that just make this game so perfect. if you grew up in this era of the internet, you’ll love this and i can’t believe this doesn’t have more reviews. i’m not normally one to write them, but i fear this needed to be said. thank you for making this game
I have absolutely loved playing this game. The story is immersive and realistic, and the mini games are so much fun. I've spent hours playing card games while reading the story, and I love the feeling of being back in 2004, with the movie references and the websites. I also had way too much fun in the Paint app drawing my stick figure creations to represent the movie for each chapter. Without a doubt, one of my favorite features of the game is the music. I found myself playing more mini games to earn more money to buy more songs in the game and I loved that! Highly recommend this game.
I’m still working my way through the game, but so far it offers a surprising amount of content and atmosphere. It captures the vibe of early‑2000s internet culture extremely well, with clear nods to "The Scene" and a lot of clever details in the UI, media player, and fake webpages. I can’t speak to the full narrative yet, but the presentation and nostalgia factor alone make it an interesting experience.
Very interesting game. I actually spent an over an hour playing solitaire lol. The only thing throwing me off that I really dont like is the response options. It would be nice if I knew what they were going to say instead of positive, neutral, and negative because many times my choice will actually go against what I thought the positive or negative was going to be. Cant reload a save either to even see if that dialogue I chose even mattered. Other than that though the game is really laid back and fun. The music mini games are my favorite and the writing reminds me of things real people have said to me and ive said back. It really simmers you in the cringe sauce.
