I cant recommend this game enough. The story is amazing and heart-wrenching. Music is great and the whole vibe is so different from other games. Actual gameplay is good, fun and interesting loop. Only complaint is i wish it was longer!!! Absolutely love life eater <3

Short and sweet! Playing this at the same time as a very long RPG so I appreciated the simple gameplay and length. If I could change anything it would be to up the difficulty on the puzzle aspect and change up the "water the flower" conditions to make it less repetitive. Great one to pick up on a sale :)

Wow! What an experience! Life Eater has an extremely dark tone, putting you in the shoes of a serial stalker, kidnapper, and murderer. Because of that alone, I think this game is going to stick with me for a while. The storytelling and voice acting are what truly make this a unique experience. The voice actors absolutely knocked it out of the park, making the world feel real and believable. The game completely pulled me in for the little over three hours it took to finish. Gameplay, however, is just okay. It plays like a mix of a detective and puzzle game, with levels ending in a short memory game. I think some elements could be tweaked to feel less cumbersome. there’s quite a bit of clicking through actions that slows things down, the rest system seems half baked and unnecessary. Additionally, some clues are so small and easy to miss that discovering them can feel like pure luck. This was admittedly frustrating at times, but I was so invested in the story that it never stopped me from pushing forward. On the technical side, the game ran great on my system. I experienced no performance issues or crashes. At $14.99, the full price feels a bit steep in my opinion. It does occasionally go on sale for around $10. I personally got it through a Humble Bundle for just over $1, and at that price, it’s an absolute steal. Life Eater is a truly unique experience, which makes it a bit hard to recommend to everybody. But if you know what you’re getting into and it still piques your interest, it’s definitely worth checking out.

ESTE JUEGO ES BUENÍSIMO, yo sé, las imágenes del gameplay alejan bastante, pero eso es lo más llamativo, es raro de comprender al inicio, pero una vez que entiendes como funciona, te adentras muy bien en la piel del personaje, eres *****, una persona obligada por Zimforth, el dios de la tierra, a tomar sacrificios para él, a cambio de no destruir la humanidad, ODIAS hacerlo, pero sabes que lo necesitas. La actuación de voz, los personajes y el gameplay son mi cosa preferida, es un indie dificil de recomendar, pero que si te gusta lo diferente, te atrapará bastante, me faltó un poco más de historia entre los personajes principales, pero las imagenes y lore que te dan, me parecen suficientes y muy buenas, recomendadisimo.

Wow when I was recommend this game I never have thought what direction this game will go with the story and super dark than I initially thought. This game is the darkest game I have ever played so far besides anything with genocide wow. This is simple stalking then brutally sacrifice people you stalk. No one is safe with this main protagonist and funny enough there so much unanswered questions I don't even know the main persons name this game will leave you questioning and confused what I just played! Rare when I find myself loving a game that left me this confused! Yes I recommend play this game if you love dark story's!

Unfortunately, this gets old really quick.

The story is really good, you really feel Ralph's desperation as you keep playing. Guess my only problem is I have a short attention span, so remembering certain details was a nightmare, but it was amazing.
