About
License To Clone is a challenging Open World Sandbox Survival RPG, created to explore science fiction scenarios in a huge open world, where every decision, every action and every non-action has consequences.
The game is designed as an open world sandbox where no correct way to play exists, opening up the game to your own exploration, experimentation and discovery.
The factions, towns and characters within the world are all impacted by the players decisions.

Play in a huge open world of 4 million tiles, no loading screens.
Build anywhere and everywhere to help survive, but watch out not to trespass
Many challenges and dangers, including huge killer mantis, the deadly desert sun and spliced mutated clones running rampant.

Tame creatures or rescue fellow clones, grow your squad or stay solo
Over 22 unique species with different traits and abilities
Founders are the ruling humanoids with huge health pools and the ability to build using money
Mutated clones are failed clones which have unlocked physical and mental mutations, some with the ability to control other peoples minds.
Manage the temperament of creatures and tame them by dropping their favourite food
Dynamic quests from squad members to help grow loyalty and learn more about your travelling companions
Balance adventure with relaxing time, ensuring your squads morale doesn't drop too low which can result in splitting up your team

Every creature has unique species traits, abilities, mutations and body parts
Experiment on the splicing table to remove powerful body parts such as the phoenix beak which provides the wearer with intermittent fire breathe
Equip powerful body parts as makeshift weapons, or for their useful traits
Use mutations to peer into locked containers, send enemies to sleep, and much much more

Extract the DNA and mutations of powerful creatures
Combine DNA into different spliced creatures, combining the best of two species
Use the cloning pods to create countless creatures
Build an automated lab, which grows clones and destroys them for their resources

Several main factions with differing laws, religions and leaders
Choose to ally or become enemies with any faction
Kill faction leaders and see their town become taken over by their enemies
Grow your own faction and become emperor by defeating the current emperor

Ever wanted a game like Kenshi? Love the visuals of RimWorld? Ever wish you could’ve been there at the start of something big—helping a dev shape their dream project into reality? Tired of asking, “Why aren’t there more games like Kenshi?” only to get the same recycled answers like Bannerlord, Starsector, RimWorld, and so on? Then check out License to Clone. Yeah, it’s got some bugs—it’s early—but the dev listens, takes criticism seriously, and actually acts on community feedback. This isn’t just another clone; it’s our shot at building something special from the ground up. It’s our bastion of hope. Let’s help it become what we've all been waiting for.
Positive vibes for me, that said, you may want to wait a bit before jumping into a playthrough since a lot still needs to be done to make it more playable it seems. Still, I like what's in the game currently and I *love* that someone is making something truly Kenshi-like!! So all props due for that alone, I will support an overambitious Kenshi-type attempt anytime. Cheers dev, hope you continue working hard on the game! :)
I bought it just to support the dev. It's super early build, but there's lots of potential here for a Kenshi-like game.
Very intresting. It's a mix between Rimworld and Kenshi. Still needs some refining but I can definitly see great poteinal. Hope the dev continues to update. :)
нечего непонятно ! ПЕРЕВОД ГОВНО! СЫРОЙ К А Л !
Has a lot of promise and the dev seems to have a lot of passion, its a early build but really looking forward to where this goes.
