About
“Sometimes you get truly lost. That's when you call someone, and they send rescue people to get you. But what if they can't find you? What if you are so lost, it is impossible for them to find you.
Do you believe in fantasy worlds? I didn't either. Until I found myself in one.”
Lempo is a psychological horror game inspired by Finnish mythology in which you play as Paul, your casual 9 to 5 guy, lost in a forest after his day of work. Uncover stories of people who were trapped in Metsänpeitto before. Make use of what little items you come by to find out what’s happening in this eerie place and go back to your peaceful life before this malevolent forest consumes you.
Metsänpeitto’s darkness is treacherous, light up your way with a lighter and flashlight to investigate environments filled with items to find and mysteries to unveil... But don’t go too fast or you’ll get lost, use your compass if you ever want to escape this damned forest. You will encounter souls during your journey in Lempo. Follow them! They might show and tell you clues you’re looking for.
The story of Lempo lies in a dark fantastic world, Metsänpeitto. A plane kept together with souls’ energy received from living beings. This is no place for a human, do not dilly dally during your explorations as Metsänpeitto is a twisted realm where the laws of our world don’t matter. Or else you might encounter beings beyond the realm of possibilities.
Experience a living nightmare with Lempo’s shivering visual and sound atmosphere. Paul is unfortunately not daydreaming. To escape this uncanny forest you will have to face unspeakable events and beings beyond your imagination.
You won’t need to fight to escape the forest, but you will have to decipher puzzles during your exploration. Dig deep in Metsänpeitto’s mysteries and solve every puzzle you find.
Will you escape Metsänpeitto physically and mentally intact?

Ho camminato in tondo per 15 minuti e trovato solo roba con cui non potevo interagire.
Awesome game except the save system. First run i played 74 min before finding out i didn’t have a save. The second time i managed to find the save spot. After i started my third run i managed to over write the save game, so now i start again from the begining….again…
Lempo é um jogo bonito e não tão pequeno como poderia, as vezes se torna cansativo. Os puzzles são simples e você pode se perder pelo mapa. Não é só um walking simulator, mas está muito próximo disso. Falta-lhe diversão.
amazing game, type of game i love, rpg horror survive
key binding not changeable
polecam
W zasadzie nieźle się bawiłem, przez długi czas chciałem wystawić pozytywną notę... ale gra nie tyle stanowi wyzwanie, co po prostu może być okropnie wkurzająca. Ostrzegam! Eksploracje lasów są ciekawe, naprawdę przyjemnie zaprojektowane. Wciąga! Jednak fabularnie panuje chaos, jakby wsadzono zbyt wiele elementów: SF, legendy ludowe, pogranicza snów i jawy... przez to zabrakło jakieś gatunkowego szablonu.
Practically unplayable for me. I can get stable framerate (and frametime) only if I set the game to windowed mode at 1080p. Even using 1080p but fullscreen results in max of 30FPS, but even those 30FPS are extremely choppy making everything feel laggy as hell, which gets worse when I move around, because walking speed is also very slow (running is slightly better, but not by much). And windowed mode just results in only portion of my 4K screen being filled in, which breaks immersion, which is important for such games. And no, windowed fullscreen mode (or whatever it's called here) does not help - it behaves exactly the same way as regular fullscreen. I am not even aiming at 60FPS, but just stable 30FPS would be fine and it should be possible with 9800X3D and 7900XTX... Too bad, since I wanted to learn something about Finnish mythology.
The game is incredibly badly realised. The whole game design is absolute rubbish. You never know what you have to do and most of the time it's just mindless try and error. You don't even know exactly which items you can take and which you can just leave. The game is so bad that the developers themselves had to publish a ‘Let's go Lempo! But HOW?’ to tackle player frustration. An embarrassing admission of failure.
