About
“Sometimes you get truly lost. That's when you call someone, and they send rescue people to get you. But what if they can't find you? What if you are so lost, it is impossible for them to find you.
Do you believe in fantasy worlds? I didn't either. Until I found myself in one.”
Lempo is a psychological horror game inspired by Finnish mythology in which you play as Paul, your casual 9 to 5 guy, lost in a forest after his day of work. Uncover stories of people who were trapped in Metsänpeitto before. Make use of what little items you come by to find out what’s happening in this eerie place and go back to your peaceful life before this malevolent forest consumes you.
Metsänpeitto’s darkness is treacherous, light up your way with a lighter and flashlight to investigate environments filled with items to find and mysteries to unveil... But don’t go too fast or you’ll get lost, use your compass if you ever want to escape this damned forest. You will encounter souls during your journey in Lempo. Follow them! They might show and tell you clues you’re looking for.
The story of Lempo lies in a dark fantastic world, Metsänpeitto. A plane kept together with souls’ energy received from living beings. This is no place for a human, do not dilly dally during your explorations as Metsänpeitto is a twisted realm where the laws of our world don’t matter. Or else you might encounter beings beyond the realm of possibilities.
Experience a living nightmare with Lempo’s shivering visual and sound atmosphere. Paul is unfortunately not daydreaming. To escape this uncanny forest you will have to face unspeakable events and beings beyond your imagination.
You won’t need to fight to escape the forest, but you will have to decipher puzzles during your exploration. Dig deep in Metsänpeitto’s mysteries and solve every puzzle you find.
Will you escape Metsänpeitto physically and mentally intact?

Such an amazing atmospheric horror game! On it's core it is a walking simulator, but the deeper you get the deeper it also gets. I was constantly at the edge of my seat looking over my shoulder, waiting for something to pop out of the forest. The story starts off slow, but the more you find out the more you want to learn. The puzzles are very true to Finnish mythology in some aspects, and are more than just platforms for cheap jump-scares (which this game has practically none of, huge plus for that). There is a lot of content for you to find, even after already completing the game's main story. So the replay-ability is definitely there. All in all, I would heavily recommend this game to everyone who is a fan of horror games with a unsettlingly creepy atmosphere rather than constant jump-scares after jump-scares. 10/10 (except for the jumping puzzle. ♥♥♥♥ that thing :Dddd )
It's a really well executed game based on the Finnish mythology about "Metsänpeitto", but unfortunately idk if i personally have the patience for such thing. You'll basically just be wandering around the forest trying to figure out where to go and how the ♥♥♥♥ are you gonna get out of there, so, if you want a game that ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE you're lost in a forest, go for it, it really nails that well. As for me tho, i'll see if i can get through it or not, i really want to because i kinda like the idea and the execution is good, but on the other hand i should just stop buying games that need a lot of patience because i just clearly don't have too much of that. However, i will still recommend this to any fan of survival horror, and anyone interested in some Finnish mythology in general :)
Awesome 1st game OneTrick! It's a 1st person puzzle/walking sim...obviously a passion project from devs who love games like Riven, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, KONA, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and The Suicide of Rachel Foster. This is a fully realized game; not a cheap shot demo. Good attempts at environmental storytelling, map design, gameplay elements, etc. And decent graphics as well...not outstanding realism or anything, but enough to draw you into the spooky story believably. I highly recommend this and await their next game!
No clue what I'm supposed to do.
沉浸式心里恐怖类型,地图挺大,有一些有意思的收集,不是那种突脸类型,慢慢找慢慢玩,推荐
Great atmosphere. Great soundscape. Nicely used elements from a Finnish folklore. A horror game that focuses on atmosphere and not cheap jump scare horror.
muito bom o jogo, fácil de entender e ainda dá um cagaço sempre que os sussurros vem
Idk to me its too open-ended to be enjoyable.
Todella isot kiitokset pelin tekijöille. on se mukavaa päästä metsänpeitossakin joskus seikkailemaan.
Not sure why this is a very positive game. The main turn off was not knowing really what to do next. My patience lasted about 10 hours then the horrid bile started to rise. Needless to say I deleted it prior to finishing. It could have been a great game but fell short due to game play.
