Lempo

I've played Lempo for about an hour and I had no idea what to expect going in. I was pleasantly surprised by what I found in the first hour. It was not what I was expecting and that is in a very good way. It feels like a mashup of the television series Lost, puzzles like Myst and cosmic horror in a forest. That is the best way I could describe this and I can't wait to jump into it again to see WTF is coming next!!

Would absolutely recommend this gem of a game for horror / puzzle / mystery adventurers! I fell in love with this game when playing the demo back when it came out. So I guess I'm a little biased because of that in this review! BUT. I will say, the game surprised me in so many ways going through it. The ambiance and music is truly immersive and gorgeous in many ways. I at times got a little stuck and lost, puzzles are complex and challenging in many ways. But I soon realized there is also a hint option you can turn on in the settings. Very helpful! And I like that there is an option for it. Like this game will tell you in the beginning - "it doesn't hold your hand" - and I'm glad it's not, because of all the exploring and findings you will get out of it. Lempo is amazing to me, even though there was still more I could have done in my first play-though. Things I missed or didn't collect. So I'm happy that I can go back into it and see those things for the first time. This game made my mind tumble into thought. It is scary and sad, but all so beautifully crafted.

Oynanması gereken bir korku yapımı daha. Sıradan bir ofis gününde bir iş için dışarı çıkıyoruz, ormanda yolumuzu kaybediyor ve ofisin yolunu tekrardan bulamıyoruz. Uzun soluklu gerilim dolu ve yer yer bulmacalı bir oyun sizleri bekliyor olacak. İndirimi de oldukça makul seviyelerde.

An underrated gem. It could be a bit obtuse at times and some solutions, especially to some of the more optional puzzles, were very hard to figure out or easily missed. But if you want a game dripping in atmosphere, and one that lets you free to roam and poke and explore without the constant pressure of being hunted, but still enjoy an occasional moment of terror, then you owe it to yourself to pick up this game.

Nice game spiced with finnish mythology.

Was expecting a spooky game, but I got prelonged puzzle game that was missing in it's own ambiance.

Beautiful, atmospheric horror adventure puzzle game. No unnecessary jumpscares, just the growing sense of not knowing what is behind the next tree or boulder. Beautiful links to Finnish mythology and (as a Finn) a weird mixture of calmness and fear while roaming the dark forests. Puzzles are unique and quite challenging, and the story keeps you hooked! I want more!!

Awesome game, I have seen add in social media and decided to buy and play it one day, also as finn I wanted to support finnish game dev. This horror game always makes you hold your breath and feel afraid, plot is interesting, suprisingly for me notes that I find during the game are interesting to read, usualy in other games I dont read them. Graphics are integral part of immersion, game creates an impression of AA game or even higher.
