LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight blew my expectations away! I came into this game expecting the combat of the Batman Arkham games in the style of LEGO, and I got that as well as one of the best renditions of Gotham I've seen. I enjoyed how huge Gotham is, having been split between 9 separate districts that basically make a huge playground to fly around in with tools like gliding, the grappler, and the Batmobile. I liked how some collectibles require certain characters, making you come back and explore more of the world after you have unlocked a specific character. The only issue with this is that there are only 7 characters you can actually play as throughout the duration of the game, limiting the amount of tools and abilities you are able to acquire in the game. The story is a love letter to Batman fans, having recreated the full legacy of Batman in a total of 6 chapters, although [spoiler] I wished that the Joker had more screentime and the final boss fight could've been stronger by having us fight a different character other than Talia. [/spoiler] Overall, if you are a fan of anything Batman related or are just a fan of LEGO games, this is the perfect game for you!

Great game, good for some light, brain rot gaming - story is so far so good.
