The game was pretty good and the movement was also really good. The story wasn't too engaging though, the game really isn't that optimized which had my pcs framerate drop to as low as 10fps.
Gameplay macht richtig Spaß, tolle & witzige Dialoge, viele Easter-Eggs.
I really liked this game. It doesn't have much of the old lego stuff like the stud bar and such but the game really shows a great passion for batman media. I'll give it a 9/10 for the story. Also, I SAW WHAT BATGIRL WAS DOING I SAW YOU TAKE A SNIFF OF THAT BATERWEAR I KNOW WHAT TYPE OF LEGO YOU ARE YOU AINT SLICK.
Greatest Batman game since a decade. Full of earnest whimsy, laughter and all out excitement. Highly recommend.
In short: Is it a good game? Yes. Is it a good Batman game? Also yes. Is it a good Lego Batman game? In my opinion, no. It lacks too many mechanics that—for me—are iconic to Lego games: Free Play (where you can replay levels with any character), Red Bricks (which help with finding collectibles and gathering studs), and a comprehensive roster of playable characters, including those from the universe's more niche stories. That said, I do think it’s a solid game mechanically; I was just disappointed by the missing features. There’s a cool stealth system that works surprisingly well—most of the time. It features skill trees and equipment upgrades, which give the open-world collectibles a real purpose. The story incorporates many iconic moments from the *Batman Arkham* games and the Batman movies, and for the most part, they integrate well into the narrative. Overall, the story felt coherent to me, though I found the ending a bit odd. All in all, the game was good enough for me to reach 100% completion—or at least, that’s what the game claims. I know I’m still missing some collectibles and challenges, but without an in-game-guide to help me find them, I lack the motivation to hunt them down. I don’t think I’d play this game again—unlike other Lego titles. For instance, I played through the story of *DC Super-Villains* three times; I fully completed the open world once, started doing so a second time, and would happily play through it and aim for 100% completion all over again.
I'm Batman-ing
I would recommend this game but only if it is on a big sale. For being a Lego game this took a complete turn from what Lego games are normally like especially with its combat. The combat feels like its from one of the bigger Batman games than from a Lego game. I also felt like the game was extremely buggy at certain points in time especially the final mission. Some cutscenes were even a struggle to watch. A lot of the boss fights felt anti-climatic as well since I could just stun-lock them with my gadgets. Its also a really short game for the $70 price. Overall I didn't hate my time with the game but I didn't overly enjoy it either. If the bugs got ironed out I would probably recommend this game much more because the story is actually decent. But do not buy at full price at least not right now.
overhyped nostalgic bait, game stutters on cutscenes driving feels very clunky and the camera is constantly moving away from where your trying to look player 1 can only play as batman in a lego game and there are only like 6 unlockable characters and all charcters other then batman are exclusive to the second player most of the mechanics in this game (gliding, grapple hooks, driving, etc) just feel rushed/unfinished/clunky dialogue feels like it was written by a ai
