This is, without a doubt, the worst LEGO game I have ever played. Soulless, corporate slop that makes me sick to my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stomach. 4 Battlepasses for a game who's live service didn't make it 2 years. LEGO should be EMBARASSED that their brand is now associated with this garbage. LEGO racers was a legitimately better game than this.
if you can get it under $10 not a bad deal if you are able to stay away from microtransactions. The battle pass/season passes are overpriced and just cosmetics, and that is on top of a +$60 base game price. Makes sense why this game is now delisted. Actually a pretty fun racing game without the stress. Definity a game good for younger audience while still fun as an adult. Main story is easy follow and you can skip cutscenes at anytime. The races tracks are all different. The open world part was fun, it was cool to be able to get rid of weeds to help you create little flowers that give you speed boost. Visually is it pretty to look at. The shortcuts are satisfying to find. The challenges a bit grindy and take time to master. Has two player mode split-screen local co-op, keep in mind only the host makes progress storywise. While being able to build your own vehicle was a neat feature, its a long and the tutorial is too tedious for my taste. The glowing bricks was my favorite to add to all my vehicles. Definitely on point with the lego vibes of puns and the ability to destroy the surrounding environment The servers will go down around 31 May 2027, so still time get the online achievement you just play a few races and you dont have to come in first place. The rest of the game can be played offline. Two achievements are more time consuming which is basically drive a certain amount of miles, to which you will have to leave the game on a drive in circles for at least +5 hours. The other achievements re straight forward. You dont need the dlcs or spend any real life money for any achievements. Work wonderfully on the steam deck and with the steam controller; no lags.
The programmer who made this game must have had its entire family wiped out—it's either a black-screen bug or a glitch where the AI blows you flat and leaves you stuck in the ground.
Всё было вполне безобидно, пока "гонщик" с интонацией педофила не начал настойчиво просить купить пропуск водителя. С учётом целевой аудитории таких игр, издателю - позор, разработчику - расстрел.
Now that the store is going away. I wish to make it clear to people that wish to play that the store was quite useless lot of specialized cosmetics. Offline you get new bricks by beating rivals and building the car you earn in the garage, which will open up the option to buy new bricks. It is quite sad that this is genuinely a good game, that got kneecapped by a premium store. But to make it clear, this can be played totally offline you are not missing anything if you dont log in.

LEGO 2K Drive is fine for sure it feels a bit of a mix of Forza Horizon and Kart Racer with item use: Pros:4 + 5 open worlds to explore + a lot of Lego cars + story is alright and have typical Lego humor if you like it + collectiables and challenges to find in the open world maps + great track design + music is ok + graphics are good + rivals are fun they even talk in the race also if you shoot them they also say different things feels like DiRT 2 somehow Cons: - since the Unkies Emporium Shop needs server after the online shuttdown you cant buy any of these Lego stuff there and there is a lot - Unkies Emporium Shop these stuff costs a bit to much they should lower all half of it and it will be fine - rubberbanding with bots is weird in this game c class feels like the hardest and a class the easiest Game for sure is fun for a while even with the stupid rubberbading on bots on c and b class and i'am not the biggest Lego fan! Only bad thing really is the Shop and how much all costs and makes it a grind fest. If you like arcade racing games then this you cant go wrong with it.
