Warning: Dead PVP Game This game has no meaningful single player content, and no playable PvP servers. There is no functioning PvP population, it's a dead game, and cannot be played as intended.

Warning: Asset Flip! Legendary Realms: A Fantasy World Odyssey is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store assets, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of stolen Synty Studios assets... an incoherent mix of Polygon Dungeon and Polygon City pack assets from Unreal Marketplace, dumped them lazily onto a "Diablo" ripoff game blueprint (also plagiarised... heck, the developer even stole Blizzard's icons from World of Warcraft) to make a minimum viable product... except not even that, because they released it in Early Access then walked away, taking money from people who bought it and instead of delivering the game, they took the money and ran. DailyIndieGame got their hands on it, with no intention to develop it further, but persist in selling a game they know is an asset flip and they know is incomplete and abandoned. Why the hell is this allowed on Steam? It's harmful to everyone. DIG Games have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. An example of DIG Games doing this is Candy Mandy, which is really "Match 3 Jelly Garden Kit", written by the actual developers, Candy Smith. Also, Yabgits: Haunted Cemetery, which is really "Block Breaker Template", developed by Daniel Buckley. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality which fits with the idea they weren't developed by the game creator... they look like they're "just reasonable enough" to go on sale as part of an asset pack. The issue of asset flipping aside, ultimately the quality of these assets is low and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience. The game assets, such as they are, are much higher than the general quality of the game and it seems apparent the developer has just plagiarised/kitbashed them. Stock assets are just there to be used as placeholders while the developer creates their own assets for their games, but what happens far more often is lazy/unethical developers just throw a bunch of other peoples assets into a blender and put their own name on the horrible Frankenstein's Monster that results. Like this mess. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Those technical flaws drag this game well below the minimum quality standards expected of a modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Unethically, the developers have left this on the Steam store in an unplayable and broken state. It's the responsibility of the developer to maintain their product, ensure it runs on all modern PCs, or if they determine there's defects and the game doesn't work, they should remove it from sale instead of misleadingly trying to scam gamers into buying knowingly defective products. This is harmful to Steam and to gamers, not just because it's a direct and intentional attempt to scam people, but because it takes a share of the marketing space and visibility away from other games. It's polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuine games and for genuine indie developers who put months or years into making proper games find an audience. This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. Let's talk about price and what this asset flip is actually worth. Is this significantly better than any of the 140,000+ genuinely made games on Steam? Of course not! The developer is deliberately and unethically trying to scam gamers into paying them the preposterous price of $2 USD for a game they know is broken. Don't give it to them. Ethics aside, given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Because this is just a fake game/cash grab scam, and due to the sheer unethical nature of the developer, you should avoid this completely. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from DIG Games. Remember what I often say... if you don't agree with what I've said about this game, by all means buy it and play it. My review is just here to inform your buying decision, and if you think I was wrong and you bought the game, then I've done what I really wanted to do... inform your buying decision.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Sometimes we have to ask ourselves, do we play the games or do the games play us?
Legendary Realms is an immersive game with stunning graphics and engaging gameeplay. Players can explore vast landscapes, battle creatures, and complete quests. Despite some minor bugs, the game offers a variety of activities to enjoy, making it a must-play for any fan of adventure games.
Everything is fine for being an Indie game, but bugs are still rampant, understandable because the game is still in alpha. I expect high ratings in this wonderful game. So changes are not necessary because I believe every game has its own originality. Overall would recommend and will help the devs to address the problems and bugs encountered.
It looks like it could be a fine game from the trailer, but I am sorry to say and to stay honest, that this game has horrible controls and task-guidance system. And very often, player will be cornered by the npc that 's been following around for no reason. It happens that you probally run aound for 20mins without a specific target, a task. No map system either.. In general, so far at this stage, it is more of a demo than a game.
I am hopeful I can turn in the ID quest (the first quest) at some point, or start a new game with a new character eventually. 10/10
Legendary Realms: A Fantasy World Odyssey is an open-world fantasy role-playing game developed and published by Golden Harvest Games that seeks to deliver a traditional RPG adventure centered on exploration, character progression, quest completion, and multiplayer interaction. Drawing inspiration from classic fantasy games, it presents players with a large sandbox environment where they are free to shape their own journey. Rather than focusing on a tightly scripted narrative, the game emphasizes player freedom, encouraging adventurers to explore vast landscapes, battle dangerous creatures, acquire powerful equipment, and develop their characters through experience and discovery. The adventure begins with character creation, allowing players to establish their identity within the world before embarking on their journey. Multiple class options provide different approaches to combat and progression. Whether choosing a heavily armored warrior capable of enduring direct confrontations, a ranged specialist who attacks from a distance, or a magic user wielding powerful spells, each path offers a distinct playstyle. This flexibility helps make the game accessible to a wide variety of RPG enthusiasts and encourages experimentation across multiple playthroughs. One of the most appealing aspects of Legendary Realms is its emphasis on exploration. The game world is designed as a sprawling fantasy landscape containing settlements, forests, ruins, mountains, and dangerous wilderness regions. Instead of constantly directing players along a fixed route, it encourages curiosity. Venturing off the main path often leads to encounters with hidden enemies, useful resources, and opportunities for advancement. This freedom creates a sense of adventure that captures the spirit of classic role-playing games where discovery is often just as important as combat. Questing serves as the primary means of progression and helps structure the experience. Throughout the world, players encounter numerous tasks that range from simple assignments to larger adventures involving powerful monsters and valuable rewards. Completing these objectives grants experience points, equipment, and currency that contribute to long-term character growth. The quest system ensures that players always have goals to pursue while simultaneously providing reasons to explore different areas of the world. Character progression remains one of the strongest incentives for continued play. As heroes gain experience, they become stronger, unlock new abilities, and gain access to better equipment. The sense of growth is steady and rewarding, ensuring that every completed quest and defeated enemy contributes to a larger feeling of accomplishment. Watching a character evolve from a novice adventurer into a powerful fantasy hero provides much of the satisfaction that drives the game's progression loop. Equipment acquisition plays a significant role in this process. Weapons, armor, and magical items are essential tools for survival and advancement. Stronger gear not only improves combat effectiveness but also creates a constant motivation to seek out new challenges. Discovering rare equipment or earning valuable rewards through difficult encounters helps maintain engagement and reinforces the feeling of becoming increasingly capable within the game's world. Combat follows a familiar action-oriented RPG structure. Players engage enemies directly using class-specific abilities, weapons, and tactical positioning. While the mechanics remain relatively traditional, they provide a solid foundation for the game's broader progression systems. Battles are frequent enough to maintain excitement without overshadowing exploration and questing, creating a balanced experience that appeals to fans of fantasy role-playing adventures. A notable feature of Legendary Realms is its multiplayer functionality. Rather than limiting the experience to solo play, the game encourages cooperation between players. Friends can join forces to complete quests, defeat challenging enemies, and explore the world together. Cooperative gameplay adds a social dimension that enhances the sense of adventure and often makes larger objectives more rewarding. The shared experience of overcoming difficult encounters contributes significantly to the game's long-term appeal. Beyond cooperative questing, the game includes social features that allow players to interact with one another through communication systems, trading opportunities, and guild creation. These features help foster a sense of community and transform the game world into a more dynamic environment. For players who enjoy social RPG experiences, these systems provide additional layers of engagement beyond traditional exploration and combat. Visually, the game embraces a classic fantasy aesthetic. The environments feature familiar genre elements such as medieval-inspired settlements, dense forests, ancient ruins, and sprawling landscapes. While the presentation may not rival the visual fidelity of major blockbuster RPGs, it effectively supports the atmosphere of a fantasy adventure. The world feels expansive and inviting, encouraging players to continue exploring its many regions. As an Early Access project, the game continues to evolve. The developers have expressed intentions to expand content, improve systems, and refine the overall experience through future updates. This ongoing development means that players are not only experiencing the current version of the game but also participating in the growth of a larger long-term vision. For some players, this evolving nature can add an extra layer of interest as new features and improvements are introduced over time. Legendary Realms: A Fantasy World Odyssey succeeds by embracing the core principles that have made fantasy RPGs enduringly popular. Its combination of open-world exploration, character customization, quest-driven progression, cooperative multiplayer, and equipment-based advancement creates a familiar yet enjoyable adventure. While it may not reinvent the genre, it provides a solid foundation for players seeking a traditional fantasy role-playing experience with the freedom to explore, grow stronger, and create their own stories.
