Leaf it Alone

A lovely little cleaning game that I found surprisingly satisfying. The areas are pretty, the leaf-raking is relaxing and I really enjoyed working my way through the game. Unfortunately, the final achievements left me disappointed. I’m missing the 750-leaf collection and 40-minute completion achievements. The latter is particularly frustrating, as my arthritis makes rapid clicking difficult, especially at the start. I’ve decided I’m not going to stress myself trying to get them especially since my fastest time is one hour, 10 seconds. :( It’s a shame that such a relaxing game ends with achievements that aren’t accessible to everyone, particularly older or disabled players. Despite that, I enjoyed the game and would still recommend it.

Ein hübsches, gemütliches Cozy-Game für zwischendurch. Die Aufgabe ist simpel: Blätter aufheben. Mein erster Durchlauf hat etwa 2 Stunden gedauert, wobei ich nicht alle Nebenmissionen geschafft habe. Das Spiel ist sehr intuitiv und lädt mit seiner entspannten Atmosphäre zum Abschalten ein. Lediglich das Ende der Story fand ich etwas strange. Ich hätte mir ein längeres und schöneres Ende gewünscht, das die Geschichte besser abrundet. Insgesamt aber ein süßes kleines Spiel für ein paar entspannte Stunden.

Довольно забавный способ пошуршать вечерок. Вот есть игры про отмывание всего и вся, а эта про листья. Главный плюс: листьев конечное число. Не надо ради 100% очищения локации искать каждый пиксель или думать где эта одна единственная гильза, всё очевидно.

Das Spiel ist schon nicht schlecht, hübsch und entspanntes Gameplay, nur etwas kurz. Die Erfolge sind aber der größte Mist. Hatte nach dem Durchspielen geschaut was noch fehlt und hatte direkt keine Lust mehr weiter zu spielen. Die Erfolge sind nervig und unnötige Zeitfresser. Sehr schade...

Alright so! This game is very simple in it's premise, do not expect any ground breaking mechanics. You literally just pick/rake/blow leaves to clear away a messy yard, basically job simulator 101. However, its chill, it's nice to play, its relaxing. It ticks all those boxes that make these kinds of game good. The graphics are good, runs really well, and I experienced no bugs. Now a little warning, if you like to 100% games then its not as cosy, you will have to play multiple times and you will need to clean fast. If you are the type of person that gets happy brain chemicals from seeing a mess being cleaned this is one for you. 7.5/10
