About
Latent Technology's first tech demo: a glimpse into the future of games. Step into a series of fully physical worlds powered by Generative Physics Animation technology, where characters' muscles are controlled by neural networks in real-time. Explore interactive environments where characters and objects respond dynamically to your presence.
Key features:
Fully physical interactions: interact with characters that move and respond realistically in real-time with their environment, adding depth to the world.
Real-time neural networks: dive into a future where neural networks drive the muscles of the characters in a fully responsive manner.
Relaxing exploration: no complex mechanics—just you, the world, and the joy of discovery :)
This isn’t about racing to the finish—it's about taking in the details and savoring the journey.

Latent Experience is one of those games that sneaks up on you. At first, it seems straightforward, almost minimalist, but the deeper you go, the more it reveals layers of meaning and subtle complexity. It’s less about action and more about exploration—of both its world and the thoughts it stirs in your mind. The gameplay is simple yet engaging, encouraging you to slow down and take in every detail. There’s no hand-holding here; the game trusts you to figure things out, which can feel liberating or a bit frustrating, depending on your mood. The puzzles and mechanics are well-designed, though a couple of moments might leave you scratching your head longer than you’d like. What truly shines is the atmosphere. The visuals are understated but beautiful, with a moody color palette that perfectly complements the game’s introspective tone. The soundtrack deserves a special mention—it’s haunting, evocative, and lingers with you long after you’ve stopped playing. Together, they create a world that feels both alien and deeply personal. The narrative is vague, almost dreamlike, and while some might find that unsatisfying, it’s clearly intentional. This is a game that wants you to interpret its meaning rather than spoon-feed you a story. It’s not for everyone, but if you enjoy piecing things together and coming to your own conclusions, you’ll appreciate the journey. Latent Experience isn’t a game you play for thrills or quick rewards. It’s more like a quiet conversation with yourself, wrapped in a beautiful, mysterious package. If you’re in the mood for something reflective and a little different, it’s worth diving in.

This is not a game, it is a TECH DEMO! If you aren't aknowledgeable about how games are made, just leave a good review. Wow!!! This is the future. So strange... Keep it up guys, I support you!!! Followed
It's free and kinda cool I guess, but they're advertising the system as way too revolutionary than it is. We saw a similar engine 20 years ago (Endorphin) that was used in GTA IV for ragdoll physics. The demo is not that good for displaying the features, the scenes are just bought asset packs with no interesting physics objects inside etc. The car handling is very odd, the physics make no sense at all. I wonder if they're planning to sell this as a licensed thing for developers or something? Might be okay for some sort of drunk meme games or ragdoll physics when enemies take hit. TLDR: This is NOT the future of gaming technology, in fact this is the past, from 20 years ago.
I'm sorry, but this i basically a primitive version of Euphoria, tech that's been around for a long time. I thought physics like this were already baked into UE or Unity. If not there are plenty of add-ons that do a much better job. This is just reinventing the wheel. I hope the dev learned plenty from this exercise, but please don't call this the future of games. This tech is nearly old enough to drink.

Latent Experience is a short but impressive demonstration of a new real time physics-based animation tool in different scenarios - sliding on ice, fording a river, assaulting a castle in heavy armour, etc. The scenario which most impressed me (and also awed me, in the light of recent real life flood tragedies and what the people caught up in them had to face) was the crossing on foot of a fast-moving river - I could almost feel the strength of the current and the difficulty of trying to make any progress across it. A brief glimpse of the future of animation perhaps.
This is actually a really big deal
It's cool for what it is, nothing stand out in terms of graphic or scenario but check it out if dynamic physics based movement is your thing. Shouldn't take more than 20 minutes of your time, hope the developers get a good job in the industry with this and get the opportunity to refine it more or are saving it for an upcoming project. This sorta implementation done right in games would be revolutionary in immersion, great work
Если бы такие анимации движения ГГ были в каждой игре то это была бы пытка https://youtu.be/RkQKfNO039w
