Do not buy this game. Its completely dead, abandoned by the devs. Average weekly players is 4. Shame because the concept of an underwater BR is cool but please save your money!
Fantastic spin on the Battle Royal genre, even in such an early state it feels incredibly polished and combat feels great.
Was watching a stream of this game on twitch, as a team of divers cornered another diver in a building and took him out. As soon as he died someone screamed "HE CHUMMED ME", a shark then burst into the room and tore a man to shreds. Bought the game straight away. Get chummed with chums.

Awesome game...To bad no one is playing it. It should be free to play! Very Different from other BR's beautiful Lighting and weapons seemed balanced. havent played in a while because no one is playing it. Should not be $24.99 and make skins to sell maybe then people will to play it!
Last Tide is basicly a very much original underwater BR game that is, in my opinion, gonna be the top BR game if it gets a full release and doesn't just die before 1.0. The main reasons I adore this game is : 1: They fixed some common problems in other BR games; If you have ever played a BR game, you have surely had the problem where you to run very far to get to the safezone. In Last Tide you don't take consistane damage aslong as you are in the bluezone, but instead sharks come and try to kill you, but aslong as you have a enough ammo, you can probably travel across the map while in the bluezone. They have also added some stations across the map where you can jump into the same pod as you started with and go into the zone if needed. They also made camping easy to counter by using chumnades that go has a big radius and anyone who is hit, even through walls, get attacked by sharks. 2: The gameplay feels really good; The game runs smoother than a baby's butt, ish. I've play about 24h, and I have yet to experience any problems with FPS drops or Server problems. 3: The weponds feel very good; From my perstective, all the weponds feels very balanced, except maybe the DMR and the revolver, but that might just be me sucking at using them. 4: The combat is very good; Last Tide is a very strategic BR. It's kinda hard to explain really, but after playing it for a few hours, you will see how much tactic is required to use the combatsystem to it's full extent. Overall i think that this game is just fantasic and I would recomend that anyone who has a decent+ PC should atleast try and maybe refund if they didn't like it. Keep in mind that are also some negative things in this game that should be changed, but it's mostly minor so im not going to mention it here.
I really like the game, but it is ruined by low player population. I would hate to just be starting to play as the population is so low you WILL be facing some of the top players in the game EVERY round. If you don't git gud you will die quickly. What makes things worse is that to "git gud" you have practice. Practice is kind of ruined becase you play for a minute or two, die, then wait to queue for 5+ minutes. The gameplay is great, the game can be fun, but until they do some marketing or something to really get a surge in player population I cannot recommend the game.
This was such a great game, but I cannot recommend this game any longer. The devs have completely given up on the game, speaking to the community consistently in Jan 2020. Then nothing for 8 months... This game was so much fun with most of the player base moving from Depth which is such a great game that has so many updates and cares about their community no matter what size. For the mean time I do not think 35 dollars for a game that is dead and given up on should have a warning so I hope people don't buy this game until the devs decide to do something with it.
Really cool concept that was sunk by a low player count and terrible decisions by the devs. The original battle royal mode was a ton of fun yet the devs couldn't keep the updates coming in, create marketing to attract new players and plain old just stopped communicating all together. I could imagine that staying competitive with the fish in the sea is near impossible to accomplish, unfortunately the few small crack in this games hull ended up sinking it to Davey Jones locker. What once was an optimistic and refreshing dip in the water has now sunk and cemented it at the bottom of the sea sleeping with fishes.
This game was the best game i have ever played before the one fateful update that ruined it all they haven't done anything on this games since that update the game was so good lobbies filled with players! but now just goblins and bots tormenting you. The guns! amazing! but now it's almost impossible to find anything above the AAP-8 you will occasionally find a SCR-UMP but it's no use against bots and brain-dead sharks anything will kill them. Scopes! attachments! haven't been able to find one since the update. The wins don't even count anymore. No more teams with friends the map doesn't even show where you are your left guessing half the time. The game has amazing potential. It was so good! but now I feel like even if they do fix the game no one is going to come back to it. I just wish they never changed it in the first place :(
This game had so much potential, but its been completely abandoned by the devs. I hope they do something, but as of now, it is a complete waste of money. This serves as a warning to any who want to buy: the game is dead, and in a sad state. Do not get it.
