This is a tough one for me, I love this game I really do. But, when you run out of ways to farm crystal you will very quickly fall behind and no longer have units that are that good anymore. I'm not a big fan of making new accounts after putting so much time and effort into this one (They made that a bigger pain on steam intentionally requiring you to make a new steam account if you want another account). Plus I know it's just going to be more of the same hamster wheel to get new units that become yesterday's news in a few months. This wouldn't be such a big deal if buying crystals weren't so expensive it just isn't worth buying. It's a fun game, but I don't like feeling like my investment isn't worth much in 3-6 months time. Will I play this more? Probably, but only casually.
PROS - Beautiful pixel art and excellent character designs. - High-quality collaborations with popular IPs. - Flashy combat and satisfying character animations. - Plenty of progression systems for long-term players. CONS - Extremely cluttered and confusing UI. - Overwhelming amount of mechanics for new players. - Poor onboarding makes the early experience harder than it needs to be. - Gameplay isn't strong enough to carry the game on its own. VERDICT I really wanted to like Last Cloudia, and in many ways I still do. Its art direction, character designs, and collaborations are genuinely some of the best I've seen in a gacha game. But every time I tried to get deeper into it, I found myself fighting the interface more than the game itself. If the developers ever streamlined the UI and made the new-player experience less overwhelming, I think Last Cloudia would be much easier for me to recommend. 3/5
