In this new social RPG adventure, Sayuri and her friends must once again face the shadow menace that has created a strange dungeon in the town's church, causing anomalies. This new installment features a significant graphical improvement over the previous title, with more detailed art, a greater variety of heroines and spicier sex scenes. The playable part has also been significantly improved, with a more complete RPG experience in which the protagonist has attributes (charm, knowledge, courage, kindness, etc.) that unlock story or sexual events, making it exhausting to get 100% but satisfying at the same time. [h3]📜Story [/h3] Kozue's Strange Journey Sage 2, is a typical story about an innocent protagonist that must face the forces of evil that threaten her city (the shadows). While not remarkable on it's own, there is more to it than what's on the surface. What is really interesting in terms of the narrative is the dialogue that the protagonist has with the variety of characters or NPCs that the game has. This is due to the fact that each of them represents a little story that lets you see how is the world in which the game is setup, as well as letting you understand more about the past of the secondary characters and what they have done from the time lapse of game 1 to 2. In addition to the more wholesome side character mini-stories, there are also events of corruption that lead Sayuri down the path of lust, where she is groped, defiled, turned into a prostitute, filmed, blackmailed, and all sorts of related events. [h3]🎮 Gameplay[/h3] In terms of gameplay, this title reminds me a lot of the Persona saga. As this game has a turn-based combat system, where the enemies have weaknesses to certain types of attacks (slash, sting, blunt) that can perform the girls, as well as elemental weaknesses (fire, ice, lightning, wind, haven, darkness), if you hit them all with their weakness you can perform a group attack called "All-Out Attack", which will hit all enemies with force. Not only does this game have this similarity to the famous Persona saga, but when you get a critical hit, you can also perform an extra attack. In addition to the social system, where the protagonist has to increase her personal skills (knowledge, social skills, charm, courage, kindness, lewdness) to be able to access events, it particularly reminds me of the title of Persona 3. Apart from the whole social system where you have to farm these skills by doing jobs in the city that increase these attributes. The game is like any other classic RPG, with dungeons full of enemies to defeat, treasure chests containing monetary prizes or parts of equipment, leveling up/stats through combat and a system of crafting weapons with materials found in the dungeons.
