A great game. Lucid dreaming. Dripping of atmosphere.
Pure Vibe. What really needs to be said about a good game? It speaks for itself, there's a unique story here with unexpected twists and turns yet familiar dialogue to keep you grounded as the list of "What comes next?" piles on. It gets harder to lose yourself in a world unsuspectingly once you hit a certain threshold however, this game is remarkably it's own thing and slowly but surely you feel the ice begin to melt as you dive into this new experience. Go ahead give it a go.
Caught in the mire of a bad job for bad people, in a mysterious city drenched in unexplained phenomena. The dungeon RPG approach to exploring a city feels great and I'm hoping more Kowloon's Curse in the future focuses on the detail-oriented way you navigate these familiar spaces on a grid.

dope game, I dont know how likely this game is to get a sequel but the setup is there
One of the best story games since god created video games, the story doesn’t end when you finish the first play through, and i understood something, the game understands who i am like for example the tony remember the little girl but the game knows that’s the players don’t - Soo when you play it for the second time you well play a whole new chapter About tony , his friend, and the little girl . This is just one thing you well experience in just the second play through . Allot more examples ahead when you experience this masterpiece - And one of the best things also in this game is the soundtrack the vibe of the city and the comedy. just wow! Can’t wait for your next project
"Kowloon's Curse: Lost Report" is an unusual adventure game that came from a Kickstarter promising to make a ripoff of an old Playstation game called "Kowloons Gate", only this is worse in every respect than an ancient console game. So it's no wonder this was a flop on Steam Direct. What do you do in the game? The gameplay involves turn-based combat where you fight enemies with their own weaknesses, you explore three districts of Kowloon City, in a really clunky first gen console kind of way. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. It's unclear why this never made it to the video game console appliances it seems to have been designed for. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. The graphics are awful, low poly pixelcrap textured garbage. That's a fail. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Even as a free game, this couldn't find an audience. With a peak of only 11 players, it's clear the Steam community took one look and walked away. They literally couldn't pay people to spend time playing this. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options. Finally, I'm here to help save gamers time by filtering out the noise and substandard games. If you don't agree with my assessment of the defects in this game, go ahead and download it... maybe you'll find the same defects to be as unacceptable as I did, maybe not. Even write your own review. Positive or negative, game reviews are here to help other gamers by informing their decisions on what to spend their time on.
Vibes are excellent, core story is decent, a lot of it's humor is just chan ♥♥♥♥ regurgitated. This can be endearing, if it's a small portion of the writing but it's unfortunately it's almost all of it. The combat is pretty meh, I never felt particularly challenged. As a demo this is solid, definitely worth the hour or two it'll take to run through it. Look forward to checking out whatever Studio [notes.] does next.
