Korwin The Game

Polish political commentary in the form of a platformer. Do I understand any of it? No. Is it a good game? Not really. The controls are floaty and the areas are pretty poorly thought up and designed. Should have been a free flash game. The target audience isn't the steam userbase anyway. edit: if the dev makes it moddable so I can put Trump in instead of Korwin, I'll change this to a positive review

Nice gameplay, but unfortunately this game would not be understood by many gamers (as you can already see in the reviews); you need to have some basic knowledge of inner political situation in Poland to understand many of these gags. Me myself — I'm a Russian right conservative, and I totally support Janusz Korwin-Mikke and his efforts to save his country from the welfare socialist plague, but unfortunately that's the only reason I give this game a "Yes". If you don't know anything about Korwin and Poland's lefties, you won't enjoy this game as much as I enjoyed it.

Well well look what I found here. A genuine kusoge. First of all, Korwin is a real life Polish Political Member (More info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janusz_Korwin-Mikke) You play as Korwin in this action platformer game. I don't really know about Polish Political situation. But as indicated in the game. They hate communism (Communism logo used as electric trap), hate gay/lesbian, hate p*nis, etc. There are many hate in this game. They use Star Wars credits roll as their intro for the story that doesn't make any senses. The enemies seems to be in a politic too as Korwin enemy. For the game itself, I feel like playing a stupid unfinished flash game. That's it.

Can't recommend it. While I am a strong and year-long supporter of Korwin this "game" looks worse than an end-year project of an average video game design student. Awful low-res graphics, awful controls, bad level design, very bad eye-hurting blur during movement, awful music and more. Sorry, can't recommend. There are better games out there for around one Euro. I don't even find it funny as some people claim it to be. I hope the money from this little monster goes to fund a political campaign of KORWiN. ;] This is a Unity experiment someone just did in their spare time and thought that it might be cool to get some cash for it from people interested in the topic.

This game is bad, very very bad.. -sloppy controls -weird economy, Extra Life is least useful item in the game and cheapest in the shop -irritating little bugs like entrance to the shop is placed very next to the shop's exit so we can softlock ourself for a while in perpetual transition between these two rooms -irritaing big bugs like hardlocked game when died and didn't respawn -NO SAVE SYSTEM. You left the game at last level and later wanted to continue? Sike and start from the beginning -unreliable head hitboxes. You shot the head and one time it is counted as headshot and other time not. Things are worse when trying to jump on enemy's head. You touch the head but again, you never know if you will jump and kill enemy or simply be dealt damage -very, very poor levels desing. It is clear that they have been created by someone with no experience and with no artistic touch. They are primitive and made under the rule "the more, the better".

Game is funny, for sure. But other than that, just an average platform game. I recommend playing it only for laughs, because you won't get much more.
