Tribute to the arcade games of the early eighties (Popeye, Donkey Kong..). 1 or 2 players. Great difficulty and addiction as in the games of the past, but with a control more in line with current times. Help Sir Redhood and Sir Greenstone rescue the princess from the clutches of Kongeer.

Very good platform game but very, very, very, difficult (but very). I've tried to complete it in solo and co-op, I've even played with the developer, but I still haven't been able to complete it. There are 10 stages, and I have reached a maximum of 9. It is a very difficult game. If what you want is to experience the skill and speed of reflexes that were necessary in the games of the 80's, play this. Hard, very hard. But totally recommended. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAistU4Mc_k

Nominated for: Best Game that I suck at (released in 2022 that I've played). Kongeer is a Donkey Kong-like. It is difficult and extremely challenging. Quite frankly, I suuuuuuuuuck at it. The nostalgia in Ferulox's games hits you like a drug and it can be very addictive in short bursts. Thankfully this is what the intention behind Ferulox's games are designed to do. You can pick them up and play a half hour and feel like you've gotten your game on without the need to spend anymore time on. This is perfect for people with limited gaming time. The game works as expected, plays well and is exactly what the trailer and description says it is. Classic style graphics, retro sound. As others suggested play the game with low volume and you'll be fine. Another solid offering from Ferulox.
Platform game that, as it says in the description, is a mixture of the arcade Popeye and Donkey Kong. You have to catch the hearts that the princess throws before they fall into the water while you dodge enemies or kill them with the axe. You also have to be careful that your time bar does not run out, and this is avoided by collecting the clocks, which are the ones that make you move around the screen constantly. It's nice that the game is a tribute to the arcades of the early years of the 80s, but it doesn't have any extras, it doesn't even allow you to configure the controls or a measly pause button. I find it too inspired LOL. The pixelart style and music are not bad, but could be better. For the rest, it is a recommended game, which gives what it promises. Cheap, fun and desperate. Because at first it seems that overcoming 10 stages is easy, but no, the game has a high difficulty. If you like these difficult 80's style fixed screen platforms, this will satisfy you. Oh, and the game can be played in co-op mode. I have played it with the developer and another friend, and in co-op it wins in fun, although it is still difficult. My xbox controllers are perfectly compatible. 8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mu0xXTcBPyg Hey, if this review has been useful to you, you could follow me on: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38997970/
I am as terrible at this game as I am at the original Donkey Kong. The controls are smooth, the gameplay feels fair, I am just bad at it. The only issue I have is the audio, although intentionally retro is too harsh and can be grating, I recommend playing on very low volume. Overall, a cute game, if you want your Donkey Kong fix but on PC, this game is it. If you don't like Donkey Kong (or are terrible at it, like me) you won't get far. If this kind of retro game interest you, the dev has multple other retro games on steam to check out.
Im not sure what sucks more.... Aletta Ocean or this game!
(was gifted a key from the dev) This game is one difficult game! I only made it to level 2 solo two times so far. I bet a friend would help out very well in a hectic game like this! Gotta be on the look for: hearts, enemies, and your time. It's quite the juggle, but feels good when you complete a stage! Also, I love the look of the cool knights~
Excellent platformer. From this studio I already played Star Tank, which is a pretty good shmup, but this game is even better. Perfect recreation of the arcades of the early 80s. Union between Donkey Kong and Popeye, but it is quite original. Addictive and very, very difficult. If you're a fan of challenging platformers, you'll like this. Solo and co-op. 10 Asterisks. 8.5
There's not much to say here. The game works and plays fine. You're a knight who has to collect falling hearts and hourglasses while dodging enemies and jumping over hazards. First few of the ten stages introduce a new enemy or a mechanic, like the disappearing ladders, but that soon stops and you don't see anything new.
