Honestly a nice change of pace to the VN's i have played, would love to play again
So, i played up until the fourth section of Heart to Hearts, saw the Hermes reveal, and then stopped for like... 2 and 1/2 years. I just came back, got drunk, and played through the second half of section 4. In the nicest way possible, Klace you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I must've said that 18 times while reading through the Rebels and Revels: finale pivotal fragment. This is not a review this is just me crashing out a little bit. I loved Winds of Change so this is understandable if you also do.
The writing didn't really grab me at any point to be honest. There were some brief "haha" moments but overall it felt very contrived if you're into this genre of fiction at all. The klace self-insert might be endearing to people who have played their games before but this was my introduction and it felt really cringe tbh. Also not a dating simulator, at least not in my opinion. You get one kiss at the last five minutes of the game, which isn't why I played the game but kind of false advertising. Dante was likeable though, it has a lot of heart, I'm not saying it's bad necessarily, the writing just didn't grab me at any point during my 13/hr playthru which lasted over a year. Drove me absolutely nuts but I'm glad I finished it.
A fun yet deeply emotional story about starting anew with trusted friends. Eventually, things do get more complicated as it puts you to experience a world changing experience. I loved the characters as well as how their experiences can relate to many.
A masterfully crafted Visual Novel, the story revolves mostly around dealing with worries of both the future and the past, while simultaneously being a great message on how to uncover creativity in a restrictive and controlled society, without sounding edgy at all, surprising for a FURRY game. Complemented by the marvelous voice acting, hell, they got Revali to voice act Isaac. In the event that you buy this game, I hope it brings you the joy and many moments of retrospection that I've had these past few weeks simply by playing through it.
Damn that was so good novel. I wanna see this at the animation. AAAAAA
fun game
Truly a hidden gem, a fantastic experience. Komorebi should be on anyone's must play list.
Komorebi is the first furry visual novel that I discovered and honestly it was a blast ! The characters are all memorable (and the cast behind it is just perfect) The story is well writen and it treats about importants subjects the drawings are cool in my opinion it would have been even cooler and immersive with more sprite/background but despite that I can't blame them :p) The music is really nice, it's really difficult to find some of it nowadays (heh atleast I got to solve a small puzzle aside form the game like some sort of arg or sth) I highly recommend playing this masterpiece it's worth it.
So Far love the Story and enjoy the voice acters and choices, the game is not really buggy and plays well, i cnat wait for what other games they post.
