Reviews
This reminds me of an extremely stripped down version of browser-based pet games, minus the forums, cash shop, lore and minigames. You collect and unlock resources, collect and unlock pets, upgrade your pets and collecting abilities, rinse and repeat. That's it. The pleasure isn't in fluff or decorations, but in the act of acquisition and upgrading itself. There are no explanations, so if you're not used to idle games or old school browser-based pet games, it probably won't make much sense, but if you're used to either of those genres, you should be able to figure it out fairly quickly.
