Melvor Idle
Just not a fun idle game, go play melvor instead.

it feels almost too generous to get a "helper" that's capable of doing LEVEL TWO in all the different tasks. It makes unlocking the initial other helpers feel like your just getting "better than nothing" and then there's too many of them and this Proficiency cannot increase, or so far from what i could discern. NOTE, i did skip the tutorial. i was going to just "stick with it" until i at least unlocked the first helper that provided level 2 Proficiency in something/anything that's not the OP starter helper, but i noticed i could not turn Twigs into coal anymore. Now it requires the next higher wood based material which is pine wood. i disagree with this design choice and why i'd say this is not worth your time. I get this is an idle game, and that was my interest to play it. But with how the whole "game" is basically just management menu's and you get an OP helper your gonna want to craft the tools that seem to require you to spend hours of time to get without meeting reward requirements. 1 Hammer = 1 Copper ingot. Why? I should be able to turn twigs into coal, but needing like 5 twigs versus just needing 1 or 2 Pine Wood. Would had loved if this could be a fun "numbers go up" game, but there are better options unless your computer is a potato.
good idle game
Free idle game easily worth $5-$10. Download it now, play 5 minutes even if you're not interested, and then in a few weeks or months check back in and you'll have a huge head start. You can use guides and micromanage constantly to optimize everything, or just turn off brain and check in every week or two, and not focus on all the math and numbers. Or something in between. There are negative reviews primarily around how grindy this game is: This is an idle game. In the late game, there are creatures that will take a couple days of focusing on them to unlock. At late stages, it can take a few days of waiting- just gathering the same resource type to unlock new resource types, this is easily the slowest part of the game, which is why I suggest forgetting about the game for a couple weeks then coming back and finding every type of ore is unlocked (or whichever resource you want). Some summons take up to 30,000 of each basic resource. This seems like a lot when you're only gathering about 1 per 10 seconds, or 360 per hour, except- You have 6 helper creatures, one for each resource type. At top tier- they gather just as fast as you do. Through the prestige system, you can get up to 100 of each basic resource type free per hour. I'm almost 2 months in and have maxed out these free resources on everything I've unlocked. It's pretty well balanced. Just know that late game you won't be able to sit at your computer all day and unlock 500 things at once with micromanagement skills.
Fun little skiller idle. A few things aren't explained super well, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Have a lot of paths you can go down and a lot of ways to choose how to level up all your pets. Enjoying so far as a chill side game.
