Reviews
Disclaimer: My scores/reviews are almost always based on having bought the game at close to the "lowest historical price" on steam at time of purchase. Quick score: 4/5 Notes: Interesting art style, though visually a bit "buggy" at times................ My only complaint is that the climbing speed is annoyingly slow, and the game is overall pretty short. Otherwise the game is pretty great. Bosses are simple but fun, the speedrun achievement is actually a moderate challenge, the world is decently fun to explore, I liked the OST. My first 100% playthrough was 58 minutes. And then it took my 2 attempts to get the 20 minute speedrun achievement. First time I got 21:38, 2nd time I got 18:36.

진짜 재미있습다
The initial review I wrote for this had me praising this game for being one of the absolutely perfect Sokpop games... and in some ways it still is: The artstyle is unique and quirky, the movement and battle system REALLY are surprisingly complete for a 3D platformer like this, the music is actually great... AND the game has saving! (Which many Sokpop games lack) ...Then I got to the 20-minutes speedrunning achievement. I discovered that the game has severe running speed issues. On my PC (4070 12GB) it runs very slowly; 15 min. ingame time is about 25 minutes IRL. On my Steam Deck, it seemingly runs well, but here I wasn't able to get the speedrunning achievement at all; well that's because it runs too fast on the Deck... This and some very irritating RNG at the bosses made it much more frustrating than it should have been... I would love to see more games like this, or an expanded version of this, but the running issues need to be fixed.
Cute game
pros:

cute art style
cute characters
nice music
nice sound effects
cool collectables
some areas to explore
cons:

no cross-hair so i missed most of my shots
no checkpoints, so dying means you have to cross the entire map back to where you died
low mouse sensitivity, so you either have to turn it down in windows settings or just move your arm a lot
stamina runs out fast so you can't sprint for long
weird depth issues like objects will appear in front of others when they are actually behind, led to a few falls
jumping from plants occasionally launches you with an unpredictable trajectory, led to a few falls
moments before the frog boss, you are shown that deflecting a projectile deals damage to enemies. it took me about 8 attempts at the frog boss before i realised the animation he does after you deflect his projectiles isn't his damage animation, but is a stun animation for you to then shoot him in the eye. sometimes i would deflect his projectile 5-6 times before dying, wondering how many times i needed to do it to win.
the first time i killed the final boss, i died AFTER killing him because the fly that was still on the stage shot me for my last health.
i spent most of my time in this game retrying boss fights, not actually playing the main game. if i'd known about the frog stun animation i might have enjoyed the game more, but i was deceived by the worm immediately before the fight. this game is good if you don't fall for the worm's trick
This game was pretty cute! The graphics were very adorable, it had a very silly humor tied to it and it was pretty neat exploring the world as a bug! Sokpop has a very specific feel to their games that I've been enjoying so far!
This scratched a platforming itch I didn't even know I had. I also love being a beetle!
A short, but very solid game. The only real complaints I have are the visual quirks that make the platforming a bit harder, but those are just nitpicks.
Short and sweet :)
