I sadly have to change my review. I've been hit twice in less then 6 hours with two major equipment bugs. If anyone bothered beta-testing this game, these would have been found. I ignored the stupidity of getting level 1-2 side quests when you are levels 5-7. When I pay 4500 gold for a stiletto, I expect to be able to equip it on my rogue without having his armor randomly change to mage's robes, as well as his hat. I equipped caster armor on my mage, and his hat turned into a rogue's hat. When I clicked the hat, the armor disappeared. I cannot find it ANYWHERE! However, if I go to the Blacksmith, it is shown there. It is on no character, not in storage, and not in my inventory. So where the ♥♥♥♥ is it at, devs???? I cannot agree with a lot of the complaints in the reviews. Most of them are whiny-assed people, disappointed, because they expected KoPP2 re-made. I REALLY like the base game. However, I'm glad I got it on sale, because the bugs make it absolute s*h*i*t. This has been out far too long to have these sorts of basic bugs, and the lack of quest balancing that it still has. FIX YOUR F*U*C*K*I*N*G GAME!!!! I'm sick and tired of spending money on games that are abandoned by dev teams, because they just don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ feel like fixing their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up games!! Stop releasing ♥♥♥♥. Start beta-testing and fixing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs!! So sad, because I did have a positive review here.

Honestly the first two are nice, this one not so much.
The game is great it is a little buggy with some of the quests and items but all around its a good game. My one critique is that it can only run on Windows. I wish I could play it on my MacBook Air, because I can carry that around with me anywhere, as well as the fact that I don't even need an internet connection to play it.
The game still has a ton of bugs, and the Drop rate of material items is so bad. KoPaP 2 is just so much better. The story is quite fun but the story progression is just so bad, why is it bad? its the main weapon dependent. Without a good main weapon you cant heal or do damage.
its a okay game not nearly as much witty 4th wall charm if your looking for mor imersvie DND this will do. Qaulity of life is a defeinate improvement but I don't think its enough to make it better than the 2nd game. This is a disapointing next game for sure but its not a bad game standing on its own
So many bugs, so little of anything to make it good. It barely counts as canon to the series, other than it has the table with the 5 players and the GM. There are no collectables to help, you can't pick things up from the environment, encounters aren't balanced at all. You can't sell a single thing, the only way to get money, and only a tiny bit compared to what you need is killing things, you get a tiny amount more for each quest you complete. It is by far the worst release in the knights of pen and paper series so far. I would recommend that you only play it if you don't have anything better to play over the course of the next week or so. It's so difficult to recommend. But it isn't so broken as to be crap, so I will recommend it as it fills some empty hours for me.

I really enjoyed the first two games and I really like all the added mechanics they put in to make it different but there are quite a few Quality of Life updates I'd say you should wait for until you buy the game. First being a restock of the town merchant and books. I would also have liked to see the lvl of enemies I'm fighting while in battle easier, I didn't like having to hover over each enemy to see what lvl they were at so I could set my battle strategy. The game says it will give you more tutorial as you go on but it doesn't. I found I had to figure out everything after the initial tutorial for myself, which means I was missing out on some game mechanics. I do miss the adding enemies for the first two games as you saw how much stronger you got when adding two guys made it hard but then coming back after a few lvls showed that it's now easy. Another issue I noticed material quests. It shows you have to go to a certain location but when I go there, the enemy I need is not there at all. So I went to another location and there would be one enemy I needed. So a few Quality of Life ideas I think would be nice. I will come back to the game after a few updates as I figured it wasn't where it should be on release.
Waited almost 15 minutes to get past the "checking for updates" screen after install and the bar would not move from where it started. Couldn't even experience the game for myself before I got tired of waiting for it. Was hoping to see what it would be like which is why I grabbed it on sale but dang.
