A big fan of turn-based here, so with that in mind, I have to say I really like this one: - It is more challenging than most, you will find yourself back at the start pretty quickly if you misplay, but it is rarely unfair - It involves almost no randomness during combats, so you can never blame the RNG God for that - Actually one of the few stories that keep me intrigued, and funny bits of humor here and there - Gives you a general idea of what your opponents can do, and their weaknesses, but you will have to pay close attention and learn about them from each failed run to succeed in future ones. (spoiler: you can defeat any number of ghosts without losing hp, even if on paper and for the newbie adventurer they might seem like the strongest normal creature in the game) - Enough items and spells so that no 2 runs are similar, but if you like a specific skill you can probably get it most times - It is a roguelike, so you won't straight up get better in future runs, but you will unlock new encounters, items, spells, and as mentioned above, you will know your enemies better and you will get better at playing your classes The developer works closely with the player base on Discord to quickly patch things and solve their problems. So most issues that were at the launch have been ironed out. And my game did not crash since the last patch
Fun game... but after making it full screen and then exiting the game...now the screens aspect is wrong and i cant find a way to fix it
Update 8/18/22: Still game breaking bugs. Using the item "book" in combat always crashes the game. The sleep realm you go to can get stuck on a loop and have crashes that impedes all progress making you start again, losing any perm upgrades/story.. such as not being able to avoid a "camp (fire)" which makes you enter, which restarts castle which... etc. I like the game, but it's SO buggy and they don't seem to be taking the major bugs as seriously. Very active.. but this stuff is extremely ridiculous for a "full release". Seriously.. by now I should be able to do ONE EFFIN' RUN w/o a crash/total restart. ------------------------------- Update: There's a game-breaking bug (crash every time a turn is passed; no way around it). Hopefully it is fixed. I do not understand why this game is not EA. I've ran into a few game breaking ones now. It's a really fun game and the dev is totally working on stuff; highly responsive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hell yea. I loved the demo. Buying the game is totally worth it. I have a few gripes (not being able to replace skills is dumb and counter to the feel of the game - there's a long way to go and some early stuff isn't very useful, sometimes even hindering, late game). I've had a few crashes I was able to recreate by following the same pattern in a battle, changing it a bit, however, totally stopped the crash. So no big loss, just whatever was happening then. Good auto-save system. Otherwise - The combat is surprisingly fun, though it looks very simple at first. I don't much care for the spellcaster, unless you manage to get her passive that allows her to shoot in a straight line as well; then she's a beast. Not a lot is explained.. and it takes a few runs to get some things, which is very... rogue. ^_- Loot, equipment, and passives are SUPER PHUKING KEWL. It's so fun to be frustrated by just what to give whom. Honestly, very fun game. I hope to see more classes in the future.. the three are not nearly enough. A summoning class would be epic. And maybe some perma-upgrading or options from runs, to have the feel of accomplishment more (it is there though, more stuff unlocks, you just don't have much of a way to measure it). Also, it's pretty hilarious with lots of tongue-in-cheek and so many references that gamers/media-types will find themselves chuckling at. Srsly, if you like the demo even remotely - the base game is much, much better.
Pretty fun game, a great title for a fresh dev!
The atmosphere is really engaging - a really good relaxing game that is fun and humorous. Recommend trying. DEV is also really present in the community and responds really quick. Fixed my issues really fast.

Great game,i love the graphics and the stupid puns left and right, ofc it needs some bugfixes, but its a game made by 1 guy,who barelly got any good sleep recently and had tons of donuts.. give it a shot!
Pretty buggy for now but also pretty fun
Game is really fun, but crashes a lot. I can recommend waiting to save yourself some frustration, but once the crashes are fixed this game will be great.
https://youtu.be/YqRCXkVAVAc Got my head caved in by a giant pumpkin and that really spiced up my day. Here's all the positives: Turn-based, Rogue-Like, RPG, Graphics, Characters, Enemies, Pick Your own Path, Puns Now to the negatives: Some bugs and it's not in your library right now There's a lot of ways you can spend $12 USD right now, but you don't need to see that movie for a fourth time and it's starting to get red and chaffed. Take a break from all that action and get ready for some of this action. Highly Recommended!
