Seriously. Game out on 01/01/2020 and no option to use the full screen in FHD 1920x1080 unless with dark bands on the side! Disappointing solitaire game. There are way better games out there, which can act as an exapmle for the developers of this one.
Knight Solitaire from Creobit and 8floor is a casual card-based puzzle experience that leans on a familiar solitaire-style formula, wrapping it in a medieval theme and extending it across a generous number of levels. It’s designed to be approachable from the outset, offering mechanics that are easy to understand while providing just enough structure to keep players engaged over time. Rather than aiming for innovation, the game focuses on delivering a steady and relaxing gameplay loop that can be enjoyed in short, low-pressure sessions. The central mechanic revolves around clearing a layout of cards by selecting ones that are either one rank higher or lower than the current active card. This simple rule forms the backbone of every level, creating a puzzle structure that rewards foresight and sequencing. While it’s easy to make quick moves, the more successful runs come from planning ahead—anticipating which cards will be revealed and ensuring that key paths remain open. As levels become more layered, with cards stacked on top of one another or hidden beneath obstacles, the need for careful decision-making becomes more apparent. Progression is structured across a large number of stages, each offering slight variations in layout and complexity. The game introduces new challenges gradually, ensuring that players are not overwhelmed early on, but it rarely deviates from its core system. Additional elements such as blocked cards or special objectives add minor twists, but they don’t fundamentally change how the game is played. This consistency makes the experience easy to settle into, but it also means that the sense of discovery diminishes once the basic mechanics are fully understood. To support the player, the game includes a selection of power-ups and helpful tools. Options like undoing moves, reshuffling available cards, or using wildcard-style abilities can help recover from difficult situations. These features make the game more forgiving and accessible, especially for casual players, but they also reduce the reliance on strict planning. In some cases, they can shift the experience away from careful strategy and toward more reactive play, depending on how often they are used. The medieval theme provides a light narrative backdrop, framing the progression as a series of challenges within a knightly setting. While there is little in the way of story development, the visual presentation reinforces the theme through backgrounds featuring castles, banners, and stylized landscapes. The art style is clean and functional, prioritizing clarity so that cards and interactions are always easy to read. Music and sound design follow a similarly understated approach, creating a calm atmosphere without drawing too much attention away from the gameplay. Where Knight Solitaire begins to lose momentum is in its long-term variety. Despite the large number of levels, the gameplay loop remains largely unchanged, and the introduction of new elements is limited. Over extended play sessions, this can lead to a sense of repetition, as the challenge often comes down to navigating similar patterns rather than encountering new mechanics. The role of randomness in card draws also becomes more noticeable, occasionally making success feel dependent on luck rather than purely on decision-making. Another factor that affects the overall experience is how closely the game adheres to a well-established template. It fits comfortably within a broader lineup of similarly structured titles, offering a familiar style of play that fans of the genre will recognize immediately. While this familiarity makes it accessible, it also means that it doesn’t stand out significantly from other games that follow the same formula. Even with these limitations, Knight Solitaire delivers a consistent and easygoing experience that fulfills its intended purpose. It provides a large amount of content, straightforward mechanics, and a relaxed pace that makes it suitable for casual play. It’s particularly effective as a game to unwind with, offering just enough challenge to stay engaging without requiring intense focus. In the end, it’s a game defined by its simplicity and reliability. It doesn’t attempt to push boundaries or introduce major innovations, but it offers a stable and enjoyable version of a familiar concept. For players who enjoy solitaire-style puzzles and are comfortable with repetition, it serves as a pleasant and accessible diversion. Rating: 6/10

Игра интересная. Не похожа на Solitaire, где убираются пары карт. Рекомендую.
Nice Solitaire game with a Medieval theme. Play it. Agradable juego de Solitario con un tema Medieval. Recomendado.
The solitaire games are quite hard. but they are entertaining, and pass the time of day very quickly. Nothing special happening in the background, some Solitaire games have animated backgrounds, but this one doesn't. There is no storyline either.
Decent fun. If you got bored with regular Solitaire and need to kill some time while deciding on which main course game to sink your teeth into next, this is a pretty good gap filler.
Maus und Tastatur funktionieren nicht im Spiel. Es ist leider unspielbar, da man schon im Startbildschirm festhängt (man kann nicht auf weiter klicken, oder etwas auswählen). 2 Mal installiert, Datein geprüft. Gleiches Problem. Schade, so nicht!
