Gameplay
In Kitchen Gore you voluntarily feed a monster in your basement. The ingredients are various and require different approaches to be cooked.
While doing this you also have to periodically scroll the phone to keep her(?) distracted. If things go wrong and you get her angry, play the music box to calm her down.
Story
Who are you and why are you voluntarily keeping and feeding a monster in your basement? Each level in story and hardcore mode begins with cryptic text that unravels more about your character and the situation.
Hardcore mode introduces new story content that recontextualizes the original narrative from story mode as well as a different ending scene.
