WTF are the controls?? I hate to leave a negative review but I just can't figure out the controls for player 2. Player 1 works fine. However, player 2 is just confusing. It says that you have to push "1" to hit but it doesn't do anything. So all I can do for player 2 is move around. I tried like 90% of the buttons on the keyboards and nothing works for player 2... If the dev responds, i'll change my review. But the game is just unplayable for 2 players right now until I figure out the controls.

How do you even control player 2? and how do you even use controller? Playing one person on keyboard is fine but not more than one so don't advertise that you can.
Warning: Asset Flip!
Kings and Pigs is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Piece Of Voxel, took the Kings and Pigs tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Pixel Frog, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. Piece Of Voxel has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Top Truck Driver" = Hill Racing Template developed by Janko Knez
"DuelVox Max Quality" = Western Desert Town developed by KK Design
"Hoples" = Pixel Adventure 1 developed by Pixel Frog
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Kings and Pigs" is just a complete asset pack game for making a 2D retro pixel platformer that's been completely ripped off here, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear almost immediately after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this review manipulation. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Piece Of Voxel.
If you're really into those old 8-bit PC platformers with terrible level design and bad physics then it might be for you. If you thought this might be something like Mario or Sonic, no, it's more Tearaway Thomas or Giana. Not the worst game ever but I think only a very niche audience would call it good.
