Don't buy it but at least read and join the Discord! =D Best comment on the official Discord server of KoE that deserves some praising - to everyone's trash-talking and hating, when they only stayed with the game for less than 2 minutes. Talk about 'refugees' fleeing from one dead game to a bunch of others and trash-talking development when they themselves have been through other alphas/betas/EA for years and years, and now suddenly want to rush these developers into ruin by their comments, rants, and negative rushed reviews, rather than having some patience and showing some support for the game they supposedly wanted to be their new home after getting screwed over by their other landlord. Now, to the comment that I praise above anything in the Discord. "Can you log on, yes. Can you move around, yes. Are some things not implemented yet, yes. Game is still playable, is it to the point you want it to be, no not yet. I love how everyone comes and says game is not playable. What is playable to you, them having end game content. If you would go through and rad the different areas instead of just general chat you would see their plans for roll out. It had been stated since I first came upon the game and its discord that it was in development at Alpha stage. ALPHA stage. They had a small test that was not good, lots of server issues. They tried to fix it so people could start playing, LOTS of people were telling them to get it out. They pushed to release it on time, were not able to so everyone started trash talking, they got it released and everyone trashed it because it was not up to their standards. Guess what, they are still working on it(GREATLY apricated by the way) and yet you still have people complaining daily, like it will make a fix magically appear. BUT I have seen them constantly communicating here and we have had several patches to fix what has been going wrong before they try to add in more features. So yes I think its playable, does it lack a lot of content yes, but they are working on it as they go, Also you say the game is not guud, but then turn around and say its not playable. Do nothing but trash on the game because your game you loved up and died because the people running it got tired of that being their life.". I enjoyed the game while it lasted. Okay a few hours into playing this early access game that is at ALPHA test phase of development. Yes they had server issues, they got them fixed. There are several members of the developing team that are active on their discord, trying to keep players informed of what they are currently trying to fix immediately and what they are trying to implement as they are doing updates. So far they have done 1 update with another planned for the evening of this post being written. Small company, could almost be sub indie with how new this company is. Yes I have seen bugs, but the game seems to be improving steadily as they go. Will see how it goes, but for now I am satisfied with the way the game is progressing, the devs had said in their discord that they are implementing different parts of the game as they go, they have a road map of implementations that they are trying to go by, so lets give them a chance and see how they do. They gave up and disappeared. requested refund after they quit developing and heard nothing from Steam about it.
