About
Darkness descends over the world of Nostria. Conspiracies, sabotage, and necromancy are overshadowing the country. But maybe a saviour – the kingdom's last hope – is already here, to fight back and finally restore peace and order in Nostria!
King’s Bounty II is the long-awaited sequel to the legendary King’s Bounty video games franchise, one of the most iconic representatives of the turn-based RPG genre. Expanding on this legacy with an entirely new epic story, factions, enemies, and new features to forge an open and breaking fantasy world Antara. With the kingdoms in disarray, counties demanding independence, bandits prowl the roads, all the overseas nations have denied the King’s authority over them, and blighted creatures lie in wait for the unwary, new accidental heroes emerge as a last hope.
They are determined to bring order to the chaos. Play as one of them, recruiting, developing, and commanding your personal army on a non-linear adventure of betrayal, sacrifice, and survival. Fighting for your own future, outsmarting enemy in uniquely turn-based combat, making difficult decisions, and experience the intensity of one of the classic sagas in an exciting new way.
Play as one of three main heroes, rescuing and building your personal army in a journey of leadership, survival, and sacrifice. Every decision you make has profound and lasting consequences.
The world of Antara is wide open and ripe for exploration. Unearth hidden places and dangerous enemies — Antara is a vast home to a thousand wonders and secrets for players to discover.
Each army squad has its own set of skills and visual appearance. Build armies of different creatures who will fight with you throughout the majority of your adventure.
The environment and landscape matter in King’s Bounty II. Players will encounter diverse terrain types, directly impacting battlefield tactics. Every battle is unique in its own way.

Reviews
The best way to summarize this game is that it's clearly a generation ahead of the Kings Bounty 1+ games, but is a generation behind because of how long it took to come out. That being said, it has some nice improvements. The third person perspective makes it feel more like an RPG, and there's a lot more life to the world and conversations even if they're not too particularly technically impressive. The combat is usually on smaller arenas, but the arenas often have a setup that's more than just the usual grid, with elevation changes in some cases, barriers, and other things you can make tactical use of. This does mean it lacks some of the charm of the 'original' games (ignoring the original actually being on DOS and the Sega Genesis), with random armies being replaced by territories and other static arenas, but at the same time it carries the gameplay itself forward. It won't hit your nostalgia buttons as hard if you did play the old 16-bit games, but it's a good followup on the formula. Overall, I'd say to wait for the deep sales that it tends to go on, since we're 4 years down the line at this point, if only because it goes 90% off and I can't in good conscience say you should pay the full price in that case.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed this game. I'm sucker for exploration and this game had it, even if it was linear. The story was interesting, but I could see others not liking it. Graphics are not pretty, but adequate enough. The roaming around is kind of clunky, but it's fine. The battles were great. I like the world the game is set in, very interesting. Buy it on sale.
I just played this game after finishing baldur gate III, so you can imagine how disappointed i felt at the beginning of the game comparing the graphics and live world of baldur gate to kings bounty. but actually i could get over this for couple of hours then I found myself immersed in its brilliant combat gameplay which is basically everything about this game,I admit that outside the combat nothing is really fun but once you get to the combat you feel immersed and want to play more and more. definitely good game, don't be scared with bad reviews
Soulless. Only way to describe this hollow shell of a game. Combat is trivial, character progression is an afterthought, world exploration is empty to the point of depressing, graphics are bland, interface feels like a mobile game, story is bad, dialogue is beyond bad, voice acting even worse. Everything is just empty. It's a post-modern game that simply mimics basic features of what good games did before it in the most minimalist copy/paste manner I've ever seen. Awful. Just awful.
Eurojank through and through
KB2 is an okay game, but it feels very rushed, and it's not very polished. I liked the combat; it still maintains some strategic depth with terrain and elevation playing a role in fights, plus the game's still turn-based; the world's pretty nice looking, if a bit generic; there are some choices during quests and multiple ways to finish them (Order vs. Anarchy and Power vs. Finesse) and these choices also affect the relationships with some NPCs to some extent; there's a good variety of units, each corresponding to one of the 4 aforementioned ideals; you have 3 playable classes to choose from, but they are locked to specific characters (Aivar the Warrior, Katharine the Mage, and Elisa the Paladin); also now the game's perspective is 3rd-person, it's no longer top-down like the previous entries in the series, aiming for a more cinematic feel and all quests are voice-acted (for better or for worse). But the game's also got a few problems. The voice acting is pretty bad in the English version and feels lifeless; the dialogue is bland and generic, and there's not much emotional impact to any of the lines; the animations during cutscenes feel stiff and the camera-work is not always great; there's a lot of walking around, especially early on, and while you get a horse from the get-go, it's very clunky to maneuver, and it can get stuck on almost everything, so it's more annoying than useful (but you get some fast travel points while exploring, so exploration is not all bad); the units being tied up to the 4 moral paths give you fewer options as they also get penalties if put together with units from other paths; the main story loses much of its steam early on, and it's not very intriguing (it feels like couple of unrelated events that are loosely connected); and all your adventures are contained to one map, there's no more world exploration like in the previous games. Overall, KB2 was way too ambitious for such a small studio, as the game's unpolished and has none of the charm of previous entries. It can be fun if you can look past all of its rough edges, but it's really not worth the full price.
7/10. Слабее первых частей.
