This is not a bad real-time rendition of Risk. King of the World provides a fun experience to those who like to strategize and like to conquer maps. I think the board game Risk is a little more entertaining than this, but for a free game, this is definitely worth a look. If you have 12 friends that want to play at one time, this is definitely a game you'd like to consider. I should point out that the free version DOES NOT let you host games, which can be a bit of trouble if you’re playing solo. Queuing for a game can take a while (if you’re lucky to find some people to play with). There used to be a feature where you played against computers; that no longer seem possible which really sucks for new players trying the free version. King of the World is a real time strategy sort of game. The gameplay is pretty smooth and simplistic. Although simplistic, it provides a lot to think about in a short amount of time. The game starts out at a decent pace, but picks up quite quickly. The maps are different and provide different routes to different states/cities/areas. Each area produces a certain amount of gold. The more area /cities players control, the more gold they are rewarded with to build up their armies. Every city is capable of producing units. The army units span from simple rifle units, automated units, cannons, to tanks. It really depends what sort of unit types the player likes. There are three to choose from : medieval, modern, and sci-fi. Each unit has their own strength and weakness. Finding a good balance of units is (obviously) key to victory. There is a tech tree system that upgrades units, but I’m not sure how much it affects multiplayer game-play. I would be very wary of this system. There is also a map editor that is included within the game. The visuals and graphics are pretty good for what the game is. I think the Unity engine is a perfect match for this sort of game. There won’t be in-depth details of objects blowing up or terrain being deformed, though the basic animations are all there. The sounds and music are okay as well. Nothing too crazy or outstanding in this domain. Would be nice if this area was touched up! Overall, I’d recommend the full version. The free version seems very cheap and stripped. Even if all your friends downloaded the game, you’d have to rely on someone having the full version in order to host a game (that’s a full game feature). The campaign is also taken away in the free version, which I can understand, but I find they completely gutted the multiplayer since I first started playing this game. I’d purchase if I had friends to play the game with. As a game by itself, especially the free version, it’s AT BEST, okay.
RATING (for the free version) : 6.5/10

Gameplay C+

Story / Campaign C+

Visuals / User Interface C+

Sounds / Music C

Replay-ability C

Overall C
Dünyanın Kralı, RISK'in Gerçek zamanlı strateji ortamında oynanışıdır. Entrikalar çevirirken, arkadan bıçaklarken, yüzeysel ittifaklar kurarken veya ayakta kalan son kişi olmak için sadece fethederken aynı anda 12 oyuncuya kadar savaşın.
King of the World offers a clean, fast-paced twist on real-time strategy, with quick matches and streamlined controls that make it easy to jump in and start conquering. The minimalist map design keeps things readable, while the steady escalation of unit production adds a satisfying sense of momentum. A simple but engaging RTS that’s fun to dip into when you want strategy without the stress.
