Possibly the least optimised game I have EVER played. I tried KF3 on the free weekend after being a big fan of the first 2 but being hesitant to purchase KF3 due to poor reviews. First Thing players are greeted with is the longest shader compile of their life. My friend with a somewhat lesser PC couldn't finish compiling after hours of waiting patiently and ended up giving up on the game altogether. Once I finally finished the shaders, I hopped in and realised how sluggish the game feels due to the low FPS. After tinkering around in the settings, I ended up settling on low and off for most settings just to get a decent and smooth FPS. This is especially surprising given how optimised the first 2 games felt on max settings. Given that my PC has pretty much the best AMD GPU and CPU to offer, I was shocked that it ran so badly. I can only compare performance to cyperpunk on phycho raytracing settings without looking even remotely within a universe of the graphical fidelity as Cyberpunk. The weapons are pretty cool and there is a lot of customisation of the attachments and class loadouts which I kind of like. Unfortunately there are not very many weapons like KF2 and also there are fewer classes to choose from. There are loads of microtransactions everywhere and the game feels like a massive leap down compared to the prior KF's. I feel as though Tripwire Studio no longer cares about making a good game and just want to maximise profits without considering the player base. I will probably revisit this game in the comming years but for now I will leave it alone till another free weekend or feel deep discount. Let's hope the Devs are reading reviews and make positive changes to bring this game into a good state,

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

its quite fun, but kinda frustrating how unlike black ops zombies 4,6, and 7 u cant just refill ur stim shots, grenades, ammo etc at any time only when the ammo pod becomes available at the end of of a round, or randomly during the round. also not being able to just select Any weapon, attachments, weapon mods and specials i want to use at the start is pure bs! instead it uses a budget system with money and theres only so much u can have at the start. so ur stuck with only a basic weapon most of the time and if u customize ur weapons u need more money to use them during the round or the start. bosses are insane even on normal difficulty and i died very quick cause i didnt have the ability to get more gear like the stimshots to keep Me Alive. Its A Slog But It Is kinda fun anyway.
It's improving, but as of right now the performance of the game leaves much to be desired.
dont get this ♥♥♥♥
Game is great and has just gotten better and better. I have crashed a couple times in the past but have had maybe one in the last month. They currently keep adding content that is essentially free DLC. I very much recommend the game. I pumped tons and tons of hours into KF2 back on the PS4 and it was fun but i love where they took KF3.
big poop 2 is way better
So much lost potential with this game coming from killing floor 2. From constantly having to load shaders when doing anything & crashing, to the abysmal state at launch that's not much better after over a year. I wish I could get my money & time I've wasted with this game trying to like it through the love of the last game.
