A Stuttery Piece of Crap. You can trust all the negative reviews here - this game is a mess even in single player where it freezes and stutters every time bigger zed appears. If you want to know know how many weapons there is in KF3 and you have 2 palms with a complete set of fingers -thats about how many there are. This game is an advertising for KF2 that made everything better - perk system, weapons, healing, welding - everything was better in KF2 - unfortunately can't refund and I guess it will never be fixed. If you are like me thinking about buying this steam bug better get KF2 - more fun guaranteed.
As someone who played KL2 a lot and OG KL for a short moment, the third installment of the hyper brutal ZED shooter felt ok at best with somethings getting corrected, the others got worse or going the total opposite The gunplay felt noticeable worse than KF2's smooth movement and animations which felt somewhat static and stiff. Weapon animations are decent in reloads and inspections but some gun sounds are weak and non-satisfying when shooting/meleeing the ZEDs to pulp The game's performance is messy with lower frame rate due to the new features in Unreal Engine 5 like Lumen which make the game's lightings at least the base vanilla maps look very dark and flat in certain areas when turned off so you pick your poison: Better graphics (Lumen) or performance (No Lumen) Post launch support, the game got slightly more enjoyable with each season as returning characters from the KL series are entertaining, new weapons have better animations plus sounds and new maps looked good As a whole, the product is ok at best but I enjoyed my time with KL3 and it's best for you to wait once the game gets more content after several seasons to get the bulk of the content to enjoy but this is my opinion, it's up to you to buy or not despite recommending it
Game functions and looks well, some things could be polished. the main reason I kinda slightly dislike the game is how empty it is and how hard it is to find players, this game seems like it is obviously not built for solo gameplay so missing players to play with is kinda a bad thing imo... I would think it could be maybe partially wise to do a bigger discount on the game to regain constant playerbase and then raise the price / add DLCs and etc... I think the base core of the game is good but could be upgraded. also the "Glory Kills" are kinda horrible, it tries to be DOOM and it is not DOOM nor close. they look a bit lacking in violence or impact. Weapons are fun and I like it how they can be modified, IMO instead of "Save infinite amount of custom named weapons with each requiring separate parts"; they should just add a simple slot system for each weapon, parts should be shared between them and remove the dismantle option just limit it to one part and make it possible to equip on multiple slots. I have no problem if you raise component price a bit but crafting everything multiple times is sad and uncomfortable especially in a game that has so many weapons (and potentially even more in the future) AS for the weapons, I like how they feel, the animations, even the upgrades they have that you can sacrifice rate of fire for damage or change bullet types accessories and etc... love it but it should be maybe simpler for the user... Main concern though is that you don't have campaigns like in KF2 (or idk how to use) and even worse, in such lacking playerbase you don't have a server browser that anyone can use to join people
This isn't KF2, and this especially is not KF1. I still don't understand the hate for KF2, but KF3 deserves the criticism it gets. I run the game on medium and high graphical settings just to turn up the image sharpness to make the game look better. But I cannot get a solid 60FPS and it stutters every other minute. It's just brutal. The most requested thing for KF2, weapon attachments, are locked away from a grinding expedition by collecting nine different parts. Or scraps. Whatever you wanna call it. Every mission there are these objects that glow red. If you destroy them by shooting or slashing it, you get these parts/scraps. Those scraps go to, you guessed it, CRAFTING YOUR WEAPON ATTACHMENT. Not only that, but you can upgrade your attachment to three different tiers. Which requires more parts, and gets MORE expensive. But, it does make the attachment stronger which is nice. Do yourself a favor; if you must play this game, add the attachments you want, and forget about the upgrade or crafting system for a while. Don't stress about it. Don't spend money to get more scrap. Just, ignore it. Then, after a lot of play sessions later, you'll remember "Oh I have an abundance of scrap! Time for upgrades!" But even then, it's feels soulless and cruel. I'd rather just earn the attachments via in game dosh from the trader pods. Also, some attachments do little to improve, and some do a LOT to improve the weapon you use. Eventually I'm gonna try other classes as I only played with Commando and made it to level 21. I'll update this review in the future. But right now, I think tripwire needs to knuckle down, optimize this game as FAR as they can...... And, well, learn lessons from the other two games. Simplify the attachments. Stop chasing trends that other games are making. Because Killing Floor is in a league of it's own. I want to like this game, PVE games are my cocaine, but this is lacking in a lot of ways. Especially for newer players and the veterans of the franchise.
all you had to do was reskin KF2, switch up some of the classes, add more bosses, maybe give us some repeat maps and boom, you wouldve had an absolute banger of a game. instead we have this lifeless, contentless, boring, boxed in feeling game that COULD have potential, but it seems the content additions and whatever else that would make this game suck less will never happen. ill go back to KF2 before i ever waste my time installing this raging disappointment of a game
Унылая фармилка ресурсов для прокачки. Хотелось более акцента на геймплей - а не вычитывание 100 способностей модификаторов. Даже лень расписывать обзор на глупую игру.
crashes when compiling shaders, eats up a lot of cpu power when doing so. doesnt work for me at all.
ABSOLUTE BANGER LADS
Plays like garbage, bad optimisation, enemies look stiff, severe lack of weapons wich makes the gameplay have very little variation. absurd price for a game that is at most 4/10. Also have had a very bad experience with matchmaking and crashes. do not reccomend at the current state of the game
I can't play with my friends, doesn't run very well, and the other 2 are better.
