I cannot in good faith recommend this game. If you can wait the 20 minutes for the shaders to load, every single time you boot the game, you're met with lack luster gameplay. I had the misfortune to buy this day one, and all 12 hours I've poured into it have been a slog, and I'd say at least 30% of that "play time" has been waiting for the game to actually load. I didnt play KF2 until a few years in, and I'm afraid I'll have to wait just as long to play this. I have faith that the developers can throw something together, but as it stands it just isnt fun.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Utterly disappointed. We were both looking forward to the game, it seemed promising at first but constant issues with multiplier connection and lack of care for the damn game genuinely turned us off to play it even further. Disappointing on how this company came to be after KF1
hot garbage
The only game I've genuinely regretted purchasing. Hoping for some kind of 2.0 major update to give it another shot.
This game ended up being one of the most disappointing sequels I've played. It's just hot garbage. The first problem is performance. Both my friend and I had issues just getting the game to launch. The game kept freezing and loading for so long that I ended up walking away and doing something else while I waited. A game shouldn't be fighting you this hard before you've even started playing. The previous games were goofy, chaotic, and fun. They didn't take themselves too seriously, and that charm was a huge part of what made them memorable. It feels like the devs poured so much effort into these mission-based objectives that everything else suffered for it. The missions aren't even good! They're repetitive, boring, and feel more like window shopping than gameplay. It feels like a lot of development time was spent pushing the game in this direction, only for it to end up like a nothing burger. The guns aren't satisfying to use, none of the classes felt fun enough to stick with, and the whole game feels like a chore. It feels like the game changed things for the sake of changing them. This game is trying to be what the series once was, but it just can't make the cut. The first two games felt fresh and full of character. This one feels like stale chips.
I'm not wasting my time writing a review for this when the devs didn't put in the work to make this a worthy entry in the KF series. My short review -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmolVsmKMNE :)
