About
Killer Queen Black is an intense team-based action strategy game where coordination, speed, and split-second decisions decide every match. Two teams face off in chaotic arcade arenas, each led by a powerful Queen and supported by Workers who can shift between gathering, riding the snail, or transforming into warriors.
Every match offers multiple paths to victory. Fill your hive with berries for an economic win, ride the snail across the map for an objective win, or eliminate the enemy Queen three times for a military win. The result is a game where roles constantly shift, strategies collide, and no two matches play out the same way.
Easy to understand but difficult to master, Killer Queen Black rewards communication, adaptation, and teamwork. Whether you are leading from the front as the Queen, quietly pushing the snail, or making a clutch berry run under pressure, every player has a role that can turn the tide.

The game has gone offline only, not too bad since it was hard to find a match online anyway. The real problem I have with the game is that I was unable to play locally with more than 4 controllers, I'm not sure if it was a steam issue of KQB's issue, but the fact that I was able to do 7 player ROUNDS (with a mod) makes it likely that the problem is on KQB. Apparently a patch was released to make it 8 player locally, but I personally wasn't able to do it which sucks.
Stoked that this is back, absolute banger of a game!

Should be revived!
This is a great group game. The way you have to coordinate and experiment with different strategies to try and adapt to your opponents is a feeling I don't get with other games played in groups. It's great that that online play was brought back but I don't understand why it's still unavailable in the store.

1)The game concept is incredible, but many times it felt like when attacking enemies using Queen I was simply passing through them without killing them, which was very irritating. Even the enemy sitting on the slug would pass right through without damaging them, even though they're basically stationary enemies. I lost two fights to soldiers, and I considered that I had the advantage and that I was the one who attacked first, but I also considered that it might just be my perspective of wanting to win the fight. However, other times, when it would have been a clean and easy hit on stationary targets (without the immobility timer), I passed right through. It was an irritating experience, since the game demands efficiency in a short amount of time and you get punished for wasted attacks. 2)Create a way to make it easier for players to identify themselves on the map when they are normal minions. It's often difficult to see your own character and can get lost on the map after a fall or when surrounded by multiple allies!
