About
Killer Queen Black is an intense team-based action strategy game where coordination, speed, and split-second decisions decide every match. Two teams face off in chaotic arcade arenas, each led by a powerful Queen and supported by Workers who can shift between gathering, riding the snail, or transforming into warriors.
Every match offers multiple paths to victory. Fill your hive with berries for an economic win, ride the snail across the map for an objective win, or eliminate the enemy Queen three times for a military win. The result is a game where roles constantly shift, strategies collide, and no two matches play out the same way.
Easy to understand but difficult to master, Killer Queen Black rewards communication, adaptation, and teamwork. Whether you are leading from the front as the Queen, quietly pushing the snail, or making a clutch berry run under pressure, every player has a role that can turn the tide.

Deader than Lindsey Graham, also not actually that fun. Every achievement other than tutorial is broken, why rerelease if basic features don't work, literally no one is playing, and you haven't made any push to market the game again?
Get this game, there are just no downsides. This is a wonderful Arcade game adapted to Home release and I can't recommend it enough. If you need a background of what this is: -This game features a 4v4 clash, where you must be concerned with grabbing berries to return to your base, a fight between the two Warrior Queens, and a tug-of-war snail. Any of these options grant you the victory, so everything must be considered for you and your team's Strategy. I got to play this with the Devs when it first came out, and I got it for Switch so I could play it easily with friends and family on the go or at events. It really is one of the best multiplayer games to just have people crowd around one screen, shouting and trying to make sure all the different goals are being managed. The tug of war of it all and the constant shifting focus make it just a joy to experience. However, it is just as fun playing online, and I'm so happy the devs were able to rebuild this game to just work without the need for a 3rd party service. Give it a try, at worst you lose an hour and you decide it's not for you, but I believe most people would be smiling after a few close victories or even close losses.

cool game! loved it when I played it on a cab at EVO 2023. don't so much love the undisclosed Gemini AI store image. Congratulations, I can no longer trust that the new patches were made without the plagiarism machine that poisons people. You've tainted the entire product. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
EDIT (7/21/2026): It seems that achievements may be back up and running. I haven't been able to test every single one obviously, but I did unlock a few through standard gameplay. ORIGINAL: So I was blown away to see that this game has been listed (yet still delisted) on Steam as of mid-July, and then it was patched as well to make basic online functions work once again. Pretty cool. I won't go into detail about the game's mechanics since other folks have touched on that detail in these reviews already, but I'll say that the game fall into the camp of "Easy to pick-up; difficult to master." With the 3 possible win states, you need to think carefully about where you opt to place your time and resources mid-game, which makes it very hectic and very fun, especially with a full crew of people that you know. You'll probably need those people too because the player-base is virtually nonexistent currently. It's not surprising given that the game is not even searchable (yet?), but it's still a bummer. Regarding the online functions, I've personally only hosted games and haven't taken the chance to join a server yet, but from what I've gathered, the online functionality works pretty well outside of a few hiccups here and there over hours of gameplay. As long as the game is public, you can join mid-game and bring guests in as well. There is no voice / text chat currently, which makes it a bit trickier to talk of course, but frankly, I'll take the stability over the communication right now. In any case, I strongly recommend this game even as it's being rebuilt. It is some good ol' fashioned arcade fun, and hopefully, more content / patches are released over time. For your reference, you can check out this VOD taken on July 19th below. It has a mix of the Tutorial and Online play in action over 2 hours or so: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2824161260
Fantastic game. I am hopeful the devs can solve a peer to peer connection to keep this game alive. I would love to get this game for a few friends.
While it is fun locally. You are now unable to get all 100% on the achievements. As such. The game will receive a down-vote until the game is re-up'd onto Steam once more with every achievements achievable. If you have friends, this game can be remote played and shared. But the Online leader-boards and everything else invested within is gone.
provavelmente o melhor jogo de todos os tempos. Só precisa de 7 amigos e um server dedicado :(
Why the heck is this free??? Super fun pick up and play with up to 8 players. With how simple the base mechanics are, it's a marvel how much chaos can unfold. This is going to be in the multiplayer game rotation for the near future.
Isso é especial; o Xadrez 2.
Developed by Liquid Bit, LLC in collaboration with BumbleBear Games, LLC and published by Liquid Bit, LLC, Killer Queen Black takes the competitive arcade formula of its predecessor and successfully adapts it into a fast-paced multiplayer game built around teamwork, strategy, and constant decision-making. Instead of focusing solely on defeating opponents, every match revolves around three distinct victory conditions that dramatically change how players approach each battle. Teams can claim victory by escorting a slow-moving snail across the map, collecting enough berries to fill their hive, or eliminating the enemy Queen multiple times. This variety prevents matches from becoming repetitive, as players must constantly react to shifting priorities and changing opportunities rather than relying on a single winning strategy. One of the game's biggest strengths is its class system, which encourages every participant to contribute in meaningful ways. Each team consists of a powerful Queen alongside three Workers who initially focus on gathering berries and supporting objectives. As the match progresses, Workers can transform into Soldiers with specialized weapons, giving them the ability to defend teammates or launch aggressive attacks against the opposition. This constant balance between resource collection, combat, and objective control creates a rewarding tactical experience where communication often proves more valuable than individual skill. Every player has an important role to fill, making cooperation the foundation of success instead of simply rewarding the strongest competitor. The gameplay itself is remarkably easy to understand while offering surprising strategic depth. New players can grasp the basic mechanics within a few rounds, but mastering advanced movement, map awareness, role management, and coordinated attacks requires considerable practice. The compact arenas are carefully designed to produce frequent encounters without feeling overcrowded, ensuring that every decision carries weight. Since all three victory conditions remain active throughout a match, teams are constantly forced to divide their attention between offense, defense, and objective control. A seemingly secure lead can disappear within seconds if opponents capitalize on an overlooked objective, creating tense and memorable moments that keep every round exciting from beginning to end. Presentation complements the gameplay with colorful pixel-inspired visuals that are both charming and functional. Character animations remain smooth during frantic encounters, while each arena is filled with multiple routes, vertical movement, and environmental layouts that reward clever positioning. The energetic soundtrack and satisfying sound effects reinforce the intensity of every battle without overwhelming the action. Whether played locally with friends or through online competition, the game's quick match structure encourages players to jump into multiple rounds without lengthy downtime. Cross-platform multiplayer also broadens its appeal by allowing players on different systems to compete together, helping create a more connected competitive experience. Despite its many strengths, Killer Queen Black is not entirely free from shortcomings. The experience was designed primarily around multiplayer, meaning its long-term appeal depends heavily on having active opponents or a reliable group of friends to play with. Since the game has been delisted from digital storefronts and its online services are no longer as active as they once were, newcomers may struggle to experience the thriving competitive environment that originally defined the title. Fortunately, its local multiplayer remains an excellent showcase of the game's design philosophy, delivering exciting, highly competitive sessions that reward teamwork, adaptability, and quick thinking. Killer Queen Black stands as an outstanding example of how to reinvent a multiplayer concept without sacrificing its core identity. Its multiple victory conditions, balanced character roles, accessible mechanics, and deep strategic gameplay combine to create a competitive experience that feels fresh even after repeated matches. While its reduced online presence limits its accessibility today, the quality of its gameplay remains undeniable, making it one of the most distinctive and enjoyable team-based multiplayer games released on Steam. Players who appreciate coordination, fast decision-making, and varied match objectives will find a game that continues to demonstrate why its unique formula earned such lasting admiration.
