A fast-paced and inherently silly sequel to the original. This game manages to pack in enough of a story to make the world you explore feel unique and interesting, with a variety of weapons that it encourages you to rotate through. It also adds enough challenge that it can feel like a real test of skill and logic to figure out the best way to approach each piece. I really enjoyed playing this game. I do think there are a couple places with needless difficulty [spoiler] (I am looking at the blue ornament here...if you know you know...) [/spoiler], but on the whole it does a great job of staying balanced and accessible. I was surprised by how much time investment it was to 100% the game (and even then, I could've continued upgrading new weapons and trying things out!) Lots of fun, would definitely recommend for anyone not arachnophobic looking for a silly time.

Bought this on sale the other day with a friend just to try it out. We thought we would get a couple hours of fun but ended up playing it for the next 3 days for a few hours each day. Reminded me of gaming as a kid in that the game constantly builds on itself and as you unlock new equipment you can go back to the levels you've already been to and unlock/do more things. Honestly was a ton of fun and I had relatively low expectations going in. I never write reviews but I thought this guy deserved it since he made such a fun game. I also looked up who made this game while writing the review and one guy made both of these games by himself. Pretty incredible. Thanks Casey!
