A great short horror indie game. I just hope for a remake where the story can be expanded, maybe a DLC, or just add more story than just that where Kiki was a child that was in a facility due to her telekinetic powers and had it subdued. But the games long old, probably, but I loved it.
I was dumb and mixed up Kiki and Ana's names and didn't find out until I
got the "Ana's Revenge" Ending
Short game, but a sweet story. I'd recommend this if you're looking for something short with easy mechanics but some kind of challenge to it. Trust me, I'm kinda bad at these kinda games and I got a little mad at some parts. Still fun, though!

Although I do think this game is worth playing ,its very unpolished. The run and walk speed is abysmally slow, sprites clip into each other, and it could use more save spaces. The story is simple enough, and the endings aren't bad to get, and I quite like the true ending. I think if this game was more polished I don't think I would have a single complaint. Honestly just making the run & walk speeds, along with the general speed of everything in else game were faster, then it would be a lot better.
"Kiki & Ana - The Child" is a badly made GameMaker Studio (ugh) 2D retro pixel, visual novel heavy adventure puzzle game with a spooky kid theme, terrible graphics, and incredibly bad cringefest fanfiction writing. Little kids! But they're scary! Childre of the Corn did it better. This is more E-book than game, because the developer failed to understand one of the core axioms of good game design... "Show, don't tell." As such you're going to be clicking through heaps of garbage visual novel text instead of playing the game. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $2 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
