Kid Chaos

I am the biggest Kid Chaos fan going, because I actually bought this. This game took up 4 big 'ol Floppies back in the day, now it has been condensed into a tiny download package. When I say condensed, I mean expanded because the 4 880kb floppies now take up 50MB, big megabytes for big game plays. The CD32 version included should make this much bigger, about CD size. This might be why the optional Amiga CD32 version's sound ain't working at the moment in this release, but playing the Amiga option gives you the full chip-tune grooves). In short, I am the Kid Chaos. I bought these ADF roms because I am a good boy for Christmas.

Why include the CD32 version and have the option to enable music and have no music? WHY BOTHER? Also why didn't you do it properly and turn it into a 2 button control scheme? Such poor, BASIC emulation of a decent Amiga game that they obviously don't care a lick about. I reported the sound issue ages ago, re bought it and it's still there, so returning it again as it's clear to me they don't care about the quality of their games. I was so impressed with Venus the flytrap and Bounder 2 releases, that I thought Pixel games really cared about their quality, but even things like in Venus where the intro sound has emulation pop and click issues have never been fixed. In game audio is fine so it's not a dealbreaker as the game plays so well, but again it's as barebones as it gets. I mean why would I pay for them here rather than playing them in Amiga Forever 10 which I recently bought where I can EASILY remap any secondary or third or more keyboard control to a controller button? I love to support retro games but this pisses me of. WHY include the CD32 version and not include the soundtrack? Are you THIS lazy? The base Amiga 500 version does work and play with the one button controls just like it did on the Amiga, so for those who love it that much, at the current price it may be worth it for you. I am a stickler for details when it comes to retro emulation, so for me it's not.

My first Amiga game. I was gifted this Christmas Day. The game has infectious 90's energy behind the art design and the great music, and it truly is a fun game when you get the momentum going. It really is quite innovative for the time.

Good but tough Amiga exclusive. Was counting on A500 release so don't care much for CD32 version music not working (would be a nice bonus though)
