Speaking on behalf on the Windows 10 users, this is not a skeptical reflection of the game itself. Don't have the time to make a fully detailed review so i'll just focus on what i would think are some key points to be adressed. I'll be adding to this review as i go. - The loading times are ridiculously long, not a huge deal for me, i've got patience but you know. Something to look into. Starting a sorcerer and loading the actual game took around 10 minutes. - If you're using Windows 10, be ready to deal with quite a ton of technical bugs. Compatability issues, when minimized you can not summon the game from the shortcut, you have to relaunch. - Constant crashes, i can't get farther then thirty steps without my game crashing. - I love the style, oh it gives me a little bit of nostalgia that i can not toss aside, i still look forward to giving this a full play. This is all the reviewing i can do until the game is more refined on Windows 10.
I have to say, I'm really surprised! Perhaps I'm just early, that no other bad reviews (aside from those reporting about technical issues, mainly game crashes and loading times) have been written as of this moment. Let's get to the main issue I have with the game: This game is simply unable to be able to compete with many other MMORPGs in (possibly nearly) EVERY aspect. 1. There nearly isn't any tutorial, or starting help that aids a new player (which pretty much includes everyone right now). No automatic tool tips (aside from the HELP section, which should only be secondary), no mini-map, no quest helper (that helps you locate the next NPC involved in a quest chain). This leaves nearly everyone absolutely lost (and frustrated) at the start of the game. 2. The graphics and animations are among the worst I've seen. It would be (somewhat) forgivable if it were 2002, but it isn't. There isn't even an animation for stationary characters. Any good parts to the game? Perhaps there are. Unfortunately, I will likely never find out, whether or not the storyline is interesting and engaging, whether the in-game skill mechanics are unique, etc etc. Because getting a player started is almost always the most important part of every game; if you can't hook players within a relatively short period of time, and players have not invested (financially-wise) into the game, they are likely better off finding just another MMORPG that's better.
I love to be infact that playing this game, like myself (Beginners starters) is like swimming in a sea full of shark, with god awful instruction and god awful NPC Placement, god awful NPC System. Which makes the game looks chore to play. Once this happen, this game easily getting bored way too quickly. If you get used to that, then its fine. I know. This game is from 2006. But I seen older game did better. MU Online? Ragnarok Online? I thought that one looks cleaner than this. The loading screen, looks like 320x240 resolution. Can I punish myself from keep playing this game? Yes. Because i`m an Idiot. Recommended, No.
A dead private server of an even more dead MMORPG that runs at 1152x864 tops, is locked to ~32FPS, and an alpha of a mobile version that's locked behind a "donation"wall. Enough said.

This game was originally released in 2006, I helped beta test this game in the US. The New Owners have turned this game into a pay to win game (p2w). You literally can't keep up unless you spend money on gear in the premium service shop. The game mechanics was a super hard grind already. They made the mobs more difficult to encourage spending money and loot drops are far and in between. The in game economy is broken, so acquiring gear through setup of trader requires you to stay logged in to the game to sell items of value. If you sell your loot to NPC you get almost nothing for gear the sell value nowhere near the value of the items. The leveling system is broken in this game, there are stats (KI) AND Experience, the level allows entry to maps to gear tiers, the KI allows leveling stats, that improve the character, Like Mana and Health, as well as gear have stat requirements. It is super easy to mess your stats up where you can't wear the best Gear for your level. It's free to download play it for an hour and you'll see it doesn't get any better but worse.
All you should need to know about this is that when you launch the Config, it opens a .txt file where you pick your resolution and if you're in Fullscreen or not.
Back in the days, this was a good game. It wasn't an easy game to play but the community was good and gameplay was enjoyable. But now, it's hampered by bugs and connectivity issues. Hope they improve, but it's not recommended now.
"Khan: Absolute Power" is a godawfully bad P2W grindfest "MMO" that comes across more as a scam than a genuinely made game... I think originally the intention of this was to make a very late to the party Everquest clone (and this looks way worse than Everquest did when that first came out decades ago). Now, it's a cash shop infested disaster. This has some fairly mediocre/dated looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. This isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
