The world looks beautiful and has this strange, quiet mood that pulls you in. There’s a lot to explore, build, and mess around with, and it feels more relaxing than stressful, which is rare for a survival game. The dev is clearly passionate, updates are frequent, and the potential here is huge. If you enjoy slow, atmospheric games with creative freedom and don’t mind early-access weirdness, this is worth checking out. I’m not sure what to expect but I do want to come back and see what this turns into.

KeepUp Survival is an atmospheric open-world adventure where you are stranded on a deserted island and must hold your own against nature. It combines classic base building with survival elements such as hunting, resource management, and exploring a detailed game world. What I particularly like: + The building system is very flexible and allows you to create truly unique and complex shelters. + Graphics & Atmosphere: For an indie project, the game looks fantastic and creates a dense atmosphere through its day-night cycle and weather effects. + In addition to pure survival, there is much to discover – from abandoned ruins to diverse flora and fauna. What is most impressive is that this entire project is being developed by a single person. The developer takes exemplary care of the community, responds to suggestions, and provides regular updates. If you are looking for an survival experience and want to support an ambitious solo project, you should definitely check this out!

One of the best relaxing but fun games. A builders fav. Well done guys. We need to work on more. Fish and sharks for sea fishing would be great. Would love to have fishing abilities, great to unwind within the game. I look forward to more updates, you have a great game and so much more could be done to add to the adventure of a relaxed survival and building game. Sunset and Sunrise is pretty epic while sat on porch under UV glass roof. Love stranded deep and this had a better feel to it bar inside the water. If we could just do the water life it really would make a difference. Maybe even water management with regards to pumps from sea for watering crops and toilet / showering purposes. I love that its y choices and the weight is not so restrictive so you have manged to make it some much less grind than most others. Gyrocopter was great untill i reloaded my save and it vanished from were i landed it. Gutted but small price to pay for all the other fun ♥♥♥♥ i have built. All in all so much more you can do with this game and its getting better on every update. Keep up the good work its a relaxing fun and addictive game. Even the wife loves my cabin and told me were i should put my furniture. its the only time in life were i can move the furniture were the cluck i want to put it :)

Also naja... Ich frage mich ganz ernsthaft wie man 2026 so ein Spiel veröffentlichen kann. Die Grafik ist naja....Die Sounds sind so massiv verbuggt xD Mitten im Wald hört es sich an wie auf offenem Meer^^ Der Hund macht Geräuche wie ein Huhn. Also müsst ihr Wissen^^ Nicht mein Fall. Ich würde sowas nie Veröffentlichen^^

Keep Up Survival wirkt wie ein schnell zusammengebautes Survival-Spiel ohne Feinschliff. Selbst wenn man die miese Grafik kurz ignoriert, bleiben so viele grundlegende Probleme übrig, dass es keinen Spaß macht. Das fängt schon bei der Armbrust an: Es ist völlig unklar, wo die Bolzen überhaupt hinfliegen. Trefferfeedback gibt es quasi nicht, außer wenn man zufällig nah genug dransteht und ein kleiner Blutspritzer zu sehen ist. Dazu sind die Tiere komplett kaputt. Selbst ein Wolf greift nicht an, sondern läuft eher weg. Man kann alles in Ruhe aus der Entfernung abschießen, ohne Gefahr und ohne Spannung. Das nimmt dem Spiel komplett den Sinn. Auch die Interaktionen wirken unfertig. Beim Lagerfeuer nimmt man plötzlich Schaden, obwohl man optisch nicht wirklich nah dransteht. Insgesamt fühlt sich alles an wie ein „Papierspiel“: kaum Animationen, kaum glaubwürdige Physik, einfach nur hinstellen, anklicken, craften, rumstehen. Das Inventar ist ebenfalls eine Katastrophe. Ich habe Kleidung gefunden, aber man kann sie nicht anziehen. Auf den Slot ziehen geht nicht, „Ausrüsten“ drücken passiert einfach nichts. Keine Fehlermeldung, keine Erklärung, gar nichts. Dazu kommen schlecht übersetzte Items und ein absurdes Lootsystem, wo man ständig irgendwelche Gehirne und Innereien von völlig stumpfen Tieren sammelt. Unterm Strich wirkt das wie ein typisches Low-Effort-China-Survival-Game: schnell rausgehauen, schlecht getestet, Hauptsache verkauft. Keine Empfehlung.

Great survival game with flying and swimming. yes

I purchased this game to play with my son since we both love exploration. Over time, there have been many improvements, optimizations and changes to the game. It just keeps getting better! There are several (free) DLCs that add more playstyles and variety of other elements. The developer is very responsive and appreciates feedback. This is an all around win for supporting them.
