?? how does this game only have positive reviews? what game are these people playing. just a dull and boring way to spend 20 minutes, with a single mechanic action having bad control, with a BORING ass story written with the most generic and bland on the fence lines of "toughts" that can be best summarised with "pre elementary writing". this game literally has no meaning, anything goin on and i'm more than open for non gameplay driven experiences, but this is just terrible gaming with lazy writing. even the UI is clunky!!! 2/10 and i swear to god i'm even being generous for the aesthetic and visuals

El juego es un plataformero suave con enfoque principalmente en la narrativa y los cuestionamientos sobre la vida de un soldado que solo hace lo que le piden y los conflictos que esto le generan, así como vivir una tierra devastada por la guerra y ver cómo eso afecta a la gente que allí vive. El arte es precioso y muy bien logrado, así como el sonido y la música. Siento que se queda un poco corto con la duración ya que podría explorar un poco más ese trasfondo y los pensamientos de Barren y quienes le rodean. Igualmente me gustó y lo recomiendo!

This game is VERY short. You'll likely beat it in under an hour and there's little reason to play it more than once unless you're going for all the achievements and you missed something the first time like I did. That said, the game is only $5 (I bought it on sale for $1). I thought the story was good and I love the art-style. The combat was alright. The movement can be a bit unresponsive or buggy at times though. Overall, I enjoyed the game and even if I would've paid full price, it would've been worth it to me.

Kaodi is a short 2D Platformer with deep lore narrative, the game talks about a war of 2 clans (Shan & Kaodi) and the conflict between both of them for years. The game is very short with few enemies to fight and no boss fights. The music is relaxing and fun to listen to while exploring the story. The controls are solid with few platforming sections. If you like platforming games with almost no battles, this is a fun game to try out. Overall Rating 8/10

La música me ha sorprendido, está muy bien compuesta y aporta mucho peso en la experiencia del juego. Y visualmente me ha impresionado, es un juego con mucha personalidad. Enhorabuena chicos <3

Me ha gustado mucho gráficamente, la música y el sonido son una pasada, y la narrativa me ha encantado. Espero saber más de Barret porque tiene una historia interesante.

En Kaodi reencarnas a Barren, un soldado que le ha dado a su país la paz en una guerra entre regiones, sacrificandolo todo tanto en lo físico como en lo mental para lograrlo. Este juego se centra en su narrativa, donde viviras como Barren cuestiona sus acciones y si realmente a valio la pena, mientras sus compatriotas le alaban y lo aclaman como un heroe. A mi en lo personal, me ha decepcionado, ya que, si que quiere enviar un mensaje transgresor acerca de las consecuencias de la guerra, especialmente para quien lo sufren, pero a nivel de gameplay a mi parecer a sido muy escaso. Igual han sido mis espectativas a la hora de leer la descripción del juego, pero si buscas una experiencia mas narrativa que transgresora, en vez de un juego de aventuras, este es tu juego, por mi parte ha sido decepcionante y poco entretenido.

Even for 2 dollars, I expect the game to have a middle and an end to it.
